Marceline

I skidded to a stop and put the car in park. I pulled the keys out and jumped out as fast as I could.

Carter had told me where they were, and I ran through the croud to find them. Joy was right behind me, and Louis behind her. We approached where a group of ambulances were attending to people, and I saw Niall hugging his mom.

I ran up to them and hugged Carter. "Thank god you're all okay." I said pulling away and looking at everyone.

Greg was sitting in the ambulance, getting his arm bandaged up. Maura and Chris hugged me quickly, and went back to Greg.

"Are they...?"

Carter nodded, and we all looked to the building in the distance. The moved the barricade back after the shots were fired into the crowd.

They got two of the men out, and the other two were still in the building. No one has gotten contact with anyone from the inside after Karen called out.

I paced in front of the ambulance, and glanced at Niall looking relieved as he talked to Greg. Maura and Chris were just standing in each others arms, not saying anything.

I felt my eyes heat up and I wrapped my arms around myself as I continued to pace. I didn't know if Liam was okay. Karen and Geoff got shot, and no one can get to them. SWAT was in the building, but no one knows what's happening inside.

Oh my god, Liam could be seriously hurt. Why did this have to happen today? It was all going so well, and four dumb ass people had to shoot up a building.

A very loud commotion caught mine, and everyone's attention. We all looked towards the building, and saw a dozen SWAT members around two people.

More helped people exit the building. I saw Karen being wheeled out on a gournay. Geoff was ignoring the people around him trying to help, I could see the blood on his arm, and he held Karen's hand. She looked scared, but he held her hand tight, and I could see he was talking to her, trying to comfort her.

More people exited, and I saw Maura and Chris go to the ambulance that Karen and Geoff went to. I looked back towards the building, and took off in a sprint.

"Marceline!" I heard Niall yell as I approached the caution tape.

Thank everything in me right now that I was in sports in high school. Track, and cross country being just two.

I leaped over the tape, and I heard two police officers yell for me to stop, that's when he turned to see me, in a full sprint.

He had an array of emotions on his face, and he started to run towards me. He didn't seem hurt, and I was thankful for that.

The last second before we met, I jumped, and clinched onto Liam for dear life.

I was crying like a baby, and Liam was pretty darn close to matching me. He wrapped his arms tightly around my torso, and I basically choked him I was holding on with the same amount of intensity.

We held each other for who knows how long. My legs stayed locked around Liam, and I sobbbed almost uncontrollably onto his shoulder.

"You're okay!!" I eventually got out between the sobs. I burrried my face into his neck.

More time passed, and I let my legs fall from around him. He gently placed me down, both of us not loosening our grip on the other.

Quickly, and without warning, Liam moved his hands to the sides of my face and kissed me with a fierce passion, and force. I've never experienced anything like this before, and my entire body responded. I felt like I was an fire, and I never wanted it to end.
