Two months later
(It's December now, guys)Liam
I woke up a few minutes ago, probably around eight, and I've just been staring at Marceline's peaceful face as she slept. Her chest rising and falling every couple seconds, her long eyelashes fanned against the top of her cheeks.
We feel asleep in each others arms, but we probably moved while we were sleeping, because when I woke up I was on my back, my right arm bent next to my head.
Marceline was on her back as well, her head leaning towards me slightly. Her right hand was in a similar position to my left, and our hands were almost touching.
He looked so beautiful. She always looks beautiful, but she looks beautiful on a different level when she's sleeping. Not stressed, or worrying about something. Considering everything that's happened in the past few weeks, she deserves to be able to relax for a few hours.
I sighed as I reached over and moved some strands of hair out of her face. She smiled a little bit, and her head tilted to the side a little, into my touch. I smiled, and leaned towards her, leaving a soft kiss on her cheek.
"Good morning beautiful." I whispered.
She smiled more, and shook her head. "No, I'm still sleeping, shut up." She curled into a ball, and gathered up more blanket. "Why is it so cold?"
I smiled again, and moved the blanket off of me. I stood from our bed and to the window. "Your least favorite thing, and also your favorite."
Marcy lifted her head and looked at me with raised eyebrows. "No it didn't."
"Oh, but it did."
I pushed the curtain back, and the scene of the front yard covered in snow, and more falling, took over the window.
(Alright y'all, shut up. I know it doesn't snow in California, but just go with it.)
Marceline squealed, and threw herself out of the bed. "WE HAVE TO MAKE A SNOWMAN!" She bursted into the closet and put on warm clothes. I followed her in and she threw clothes at me. "Put it on, we're building a snowman."
I laughed to myself and did as I was told. She looked so happy, and excited, I didn't want to disagree with her.
In a few minutes time, we were outside, shivering, making a gigantic snowman. I was making the largest ball of snow, and Marcy was making the head. After I moved the huge ball in an acceptable place, Marcy and I made the second largest ball together.
Once the three were stacked, Marcy wrapped a scarf around its neck, shoved a carrot in the center of the face, and put rocks for buttons. I put two large pieces of charcoal as eyes, and smaller ones for the mouth.
"Damn we make a good team, Li." Marcy huffed out as we both took a step back to look at our snowman. She was shivering, but smiling like crazy.
I smiled at the woman I love and wrapped my arms around her tightly. "The best team. By the way, mum planned a huge dinner tonight with the company. Everyone should be there. Do you want to go?"
"Is that even a question, of course I want to go, I love everyone from the company." Marcy leaned back into me, "Joy, Louis, Greg, Carter, and Niall will be there. All of my best friends. Plus the man I love, and his amazing family."
"They think you're amazing too, my mum absolutely loves you to death. She always talkes about you, even if the conversation has nothing to do with you."
