In the span of your life, you will lose people. You will meet new people, and befriend them. But, it all may change. Nothing lasts forever. Everything comes, and everything goes. You can never force some body to stay with you. If they want to leave, let them. If they want to stay, welcome them with open arms.
Accepting someone back into your life, after they did you so wrong, can be hard. There are some people that deserve it, with sincere apologies, open arms, and a warm heart. But there will always be some, that can never undo what has been done. Going back on apologies after the rejection of acceptance, a turned back, and an icy heart. There are just some people you need to let go of. No matter how many laughs, cries, and happy moments you may have shared together. You have shown me your true colors, and now I need to leave, and so do you.
Letting go is the hardest part. After that, you forget. But stumbling upon an old picture of an old friend can be a stab to the heart. And then you remember. Every moment you shared together, the laughs, and the amazing warming moments. You can feel the urge to call or text them, maybe to meet up. But as soon as you see their contact, you also remember the pain they caused you. The screaming, the crying, the overall sadness. You turn off your phone as a tear rolls down your cheek. And that's where our story will end. You are gone.
