First Date / First Kiss

Eren (Your POV)

"Eren!" I yell out as I run up to him with my hand in the air, waving at him. "Oh, hey Y/N." He says with a smile as I stop in front of him. "Sorry I'm late." I apologise and he chuckles. "No, not at all. I just got here myself." He say and I laugh. "Thank you for inviting me out. What are we gonna do?" I ask, eager for what he had in store for this date. "I can't tell you, it's a surprise." He says and I giggle and jump around with excitement. "I love surprises!" I say happily as I grab his hand and we begin walking. "I know. Before the surprise though, I thought we could just walk around the market and see what we find." He says and I nod. "Sounds fun! I haven't had lunch yet, so can we get some food first?" I use my super effective puppy dog eyes on him. "You don't have to use those eyes. I was gonna get food first anyway." He laughs. "YAY!" I yell in triumph and we begin out quest to quench our hunger and thirst. "Eren! Look!" I say happily as I point to a new bakery in the market. "You wanna go there?" He asks and I nod happily. "Alright then." He chuckles.

Time Skip

"When's this surprise happening Eren? It's getting kinda late." I yawn and he ruffles my hair. "Just wait Y/N." I pout and cross my arms. "But Erreeeeennnn." I groan and he grabs my hand. "Come on Y/N!" He pulls me along to a big tree in a quiet area. "What's this?" I ask with a chuckle and he gestures me into a tire swing. "Your ride milady." He says in a fake posh accent. I giggle and curtsey. "Why thank you kind Sir." I say in a similar accent. I sit down and he gently pushes me. "This is a great surprise. I love swings!" I say with a smile on my face. "This isn't the surprise." He says and I get off the swing. "What is it then?" I ask and he turns me around pointing to the sky. I jump at a sudden bang, but soon that fear was replaced by awe as colours danced around in the night sky, each new colour starting with a literal bang. "I got Armin and Mikasa to get some fireworks." He says, sounding proud of himself. "You did all of this for me?" I ask and he nods. "I...if it's not too much of a bother, there is another surprise I had in mind." He says nervously and I smile. "Yeah, sure! What is it?" I ask before my eyes go even wider than before. H...he's kissing me! He's actually kissing me! I relax and wrap my arms around his neck as we kiss under the light of the moon and fireworks.

Armin

"Armin? Could you tell me about the ocean again?" I ask with a smile as we sit under a big, shady tree, me resting my head on his lap as he read and played with my hair. "Of course Y/N." He says with a smile before putting his book down and beginning to explain the wondrous thing called 'ocean'. A mass of water with salt in it that stretched far across the land, further than the eye could see. "Oh, it sounds beautiful...Will we be able to go see this 'ocean' one day?" I ask and he smiles. "Let's hope so. I'd hate to live my life without exploring the outside world." He says hopefully. "I'm sure we will. We'll take everyone. Eren, Mikasa, Jean, Christa, Hange, maybe even Captain Levi." I giggle and he brushes his fingers through my hair. I sit up and turn around to face him. "Hey Armin? I ask and he hums. "C...can I try something?" I ask nervously. "Sure, what is it?" He asks and I take a deep breath before kissing him quickly and softly. I feel the heat radiating from his face and I pull away, realising he wasn't kissing back. "S...sorry. I just wanted to try it..." I say nervously. "It's fine. Maybe we couldn't do it in public next time though. I'm fine with kissing, but I get shy in public..." He murmurs. I sigh in relief. "I thought you didn't like it for a second. We'll do it in a more private space next time. Promise." I say, holding my pinkie out. He wraps his pinkie around mine and shakes on the promise. "And I promise, one day I'll kiss you in public." He says and I smile. "I look forward to it, but don't force yourself." I say, leaning my head back on his lap and closing my eyes as he read the book to me.
