I watch Allen dig a hole in the ground to get fresh, wet sand and help him. I lean foward and accidentally knock heads with him, sending him flying backwards in laughter. I blush and laugh too, mostly at myself. Here he his, a sexy ladykiller digging gracefully and here I am. Leaning foward once and clunking heads with the beast. How lady like.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to!" I freak, covering my mouth in embarrassment.

"You're fine, Alyssa. You're so graceful." He says, ending his laughter and beginning to dig again.

"Thank you, I'm a ballerina." I giggle, carefully moving my head by his and digging with him.

Grainy sand gets under my fingernails, irritating me. We finally dig a hole deep enough and fill a small bucket we found with the wet sand. Allen packs it down, smashing it with his strong muscles. I gawk at his biceps and I think he catches me but I couldn't care less. He's toned. Like, really toned.

Allen fills the bucket and I carefully flip it upside down on a flat part of the sand. Allen once again pounds it down and I once again gawk every time his muscles flex. Finnick's do that too when he makes food, cleans the clothes, puts on a shirt. Anything. He has muscles equally as big as Allen's. There's no telling them apart muscle wise.

There are few differences between the two appearance wise. First, Allen has chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes. Finnick on the other hand, has dark gold hair and has eyes of beyond the sea. Somewhere in the ocean that is uninhabitated by humans, that's his eye color. Finnick also has deep dimples, where Allen has none. They both have tan skin, white teeth, and similar bodies.

Personality on the other hand... well. There's a ton of differences. Allen is laid back around me and a little more spontaneous. He is thoughtful and sweet with no hard shell whatsoever. He's very open with his feelings and isn't afraid to make contact.

Finnick on the other hand, is extremely careful around me and doesn't like to take his chances when I'm depending on him. Yeah, he is spontaneous, but he's been though a lot and has seen me go through a lot so he tries not to be too daring. He is sweet and caring but has a wall built around him because he's afraid of getting hurt, like me. Finnick and I have more in common. He's also very choosy who he fully opens up to but is very social in mingling events. He's complicated, but that's ok because I am too.

I feel someone shake my shoulders and flinch away, ready to stand up and run. I find myself looking at Allen, who looks confused.

"Alyssa?" He questions, cocking his head.

"Sorry, I didn't hear you." I say, trying to cover up my little slip.

"You're ok, right?" He asks.

"Yeah, I'm ok. What did you say though?" I nod with a smile.

"I asked you to flip the bucket over while I get some shells for the castle." He smiles back, his white teeth glowing.

"Oh, right. Sorry." I giggle while slowly sliding the bucket off of the sand castle.

It turns out perfectly and I start to make little window holes and a moat. I add a door hole and watch Allen run back and forth along the beach with little colored shells in his hands. It's quite entertaining actually, especially when he stumbles and blushes. His cheeks heat up a lot and it's cute. It reminds me of Finnick.

Whenever he gets embarrassed for whatever reason, his cheeks turn bright pink like a spring flower. I always thought it was cute and I always will. Sometimes he even smiles while blushing, giving him pink cheeks and dimples too. That makes me swoon and I know he's supposed to be my best friend but I can't help it sometimes.
