Vanessa's POV

'I can't believe he actually guessed the right movie,' I thought as he gave me his phone and I gave him mine. As I put in my phone number he punched in his into my phone. When we were all done we exchanged phones again and I got a call. I look at the caller ID and see that it's Crawford. "Aren't you going to answer that?" He taunted me.

"Do you want me to?" I question back.

"I think it'd be nice," Crawford retorted and I rejected the call as he made a hurt face. I could hear Devan, Collins, and Ana giggling as he kept messing with me.

Crawford grinned at me as he looked me up and down as if examining me.

"Uhm," I clear my throat.

"You look comfy, what cute pj's you wore to see me," the grin still playing on his lips.

"Oh hush, don't flatter yourself too much."

"Too much? So I can splurge a little," he retorted as he pinched at the my pajama shorts and I smacked his hand away.

Soon enough he was quiet and everyone was able to watch the movie in peace. Every once in a while he would get bored of being good and would try to put his arm around me. But of course I can pinch and shove and he learned that very quickly.

When the movie was over he whispered my name in my ear, making the hairs on the back of my neck rise and I jumped a bit. "What do you want?" I replied not noticing I had whispered.

"Wanna get out of here?"

"With you?"

"No, Tom the ghost. Yes me, smarty pants."

"Where?" I asked.

"It'll be a secret," he smirks again. It seems to be one of his favorite expressions.

"For one, you could be taking me to my grave and for another I'm wearing pajamas."

"Alright, you keep those pjs on because you look cute in them," he looked me in the eyes and I tried not the blush. "But I'll let you go back home so Ana can pick up a little something for you two."

I look back into his brown eyes and agree, "Fine, I'll go just this once."

The three of us then went outside to the cars. As we drove back to the house and Crawford followed right behind us.

Once we got there Crawford went to Ana, I assume to tell her what to get while I got the stuff from the car and took it in to start putting away.

"Hey, need some help?" Crawford called out to me and I shook my head.

"It's not a lot, you stay out in the car. We'll be out soon," I yelled back out.

It was a few minutes before I finished putting away the groceries and Ana came down with a bag of things that I apparently wasn't allowed in on just yet. I expected to go in my car but when we got back outside Crawford led us to his and told us he was taking us.

The ride was short and I was kind of glad he had taken us to the beach.

"It's a cliche but who would ever deny the chance to come to the beach," he said and I smiled a little.
