chapter 5: toms here??

Oh my god toms here if your wondering tom is my ex-boyfriend he wasnt very nice either he was kind of abusive and i know your boyfriend was abusing you when you were 12 but the only reason he did abuse me was because i never wanted to kiss or makeout with him so whenever I refused he used to hit me I hated it and always ended up going to school with bruises and scratches but always covered them with make up or something.

"oh heyy Courtney" tom yelled out I tried to ignore him and keep walking but he ran up to me and tapped me on the shoulder

'oh heyy tom what are you doing here?" I asked acting like I was happy to see him but I was terrified im pretty sure the color drained from my face.

"oh I moved here what about you?"

"I live here"

"oh cool, so then since where her together we should get back together" and once he said that I froze

"im sorry tom but no"

"what no, no, no we are getting back together whether you like it or not and if you don't ill mnake your life a living hell"

"n-n-no"     "ok fine hell it is": he said as he pushed me on the ground and started punching my face and kicking my stomach, after what felt like forever he finally stopped and I new I couldn't go in the house for to reasons one I live at bennys house now and two my parents cant see me like this. I was supposed to come here because I forgot a necklace my grandma gave me before she died. I started limping to bennys house and I finally reached there and knocked on the door. when he opened I collapsed and fell into his arms.

"whoa COURTNEY WHAT HAPPENED!" he asked

"tom is back he wanted to get back together but I said no"

"wait whose tom and did he do this to you"

"hes me ex-boyfriend he always used to beat me up if I never did anything he wanted to do and when I said no when he asked me out again he beat me up and the worst part...... h-h-he moved h-here" I said crying
