We seemed to be holding each other for hours, neither one of us wanting to let go. How could we? If he let me go, I was worried that I would never see him again or touch him again.
"COURT GET OVER HERE NOW!" I hear coming from the far corner, Its Tom charging at full speed. I could see the fury in his eyes, I started to run in the other direction as far as I could, releasing Benny in the process. Desperately trying get away from what was about to happen. I could feel a hand latch on to my hair and attempt to pull me down, but before I knew it I see Benny tackle him at full force.
"Don't you dare touch her!" Benny said strictly while holding him down, Tom froze. I'm not sure what's worse him being angry or the silence.
"You don't tell me what to do! She is mine and will forever be mine!" Tom shouted staring at me, I could feel that he was not going to let me go anytime soon. I could hear him and Benny arguing over me, Tom was arguing that I was him property however Benny was determined to protect me. Tom grabbed Benny by the head and managed to set himself free from Benny's grip. He threw Benny on the ground and set his eyes upon me once more, even more angry than before. Benny instantly ran to me and grab me, pulling me behind him so he was the only thing that stood between me and Tom.
He was getting even more and more furious now, slowly inching towards us making Benny tighten his grip that he has on me.
"This isn't over." He said angrily, I'm honestly surprised that his face isn't red. He started to walk away, which caused me to release the breath I have been holding. I turned around and Benny wrapped his arms around me while I dug my head into the nape of his neck.
"It's going to be ok, I'll protect you." He whispered in my ear closing his eyes and pulling me in tightly, it was the most calming thing I have ever heard. We quickly tuned out the world, just focusing on us. But that was interrupted when Tom snuck us behind us, hitting me in the head with something solid. I black out instantly.
