It was about 6:00 in the morning and benny was still asleep so i got ready in the usuall and went out for a walk. I went down to a little lake near the house it was nice untill i ran into phillips.
" heyy couryney so that was a good kiss yesterday"
"I can tell since you kissed back"
"Well how bout you go on a date with me today"
"Well since you beat me up and tried to get me to leave my friends id say you a have a slim chance"
"Well im sorry about that i wasnt myself but if you took the time to get to know the real me i bet youll like me"
"Ok fine but one date"
"Thnx how bout another kiss"
"Yea no"
Then i checked the time and it was 8:00 so i said bye and ran off to the sandlot
"Heyy guys sorry im late" i apologised
"Why were late??" They all asked
"Ummm well i was sleeping" i told them cause i didnt want them to know about the date or that i went out.
"i didnt see you in bed when i went to wake you up" questioned benny
"uh umm thats because i fell of the bed and couldnt be bothered getting up" i said nervously
"were you with tom" benny asked with concern
"no way i wouldnt never if i was i would tell you" i said honestly
"ohk... anyway lets play ball" hams said trying to hurry things along
