Chapter 2- Hiyori

*Your POV*

A Few Weeks Later...

"You did it again! You stole my money to buy a stupid fake charm!" Yelled Yukine. "It's not fake! The old lady on the street told me so!" Complained Yato. You face palmed mentally and physically while they fought.

"Yato. Yukine. Don't fight, come here Yukine." You said. Yukine obliged, and walked towards you. You swiftly took out your wallet, and gave him 30,000 yen. "Are you sure!? This is alot of money!!!" He said with his eyes sparkling. I also handed Akira 30,000 yen. "This is the deal. Every week you two are good, I'll give you a paycheck of 30,000 yen. Also, Yato."

He stood straight, with a sweatdrop going down his face. "Y-Yes?" He replied. You walked up to him, in an inhumanly pace, and smiled, with a devilish aura around you. "If you dare steak their money, I'll kick you out of my apartment." He nodded slowely, as you walked away.

"You boys go have fun, come back in about an hour!" You said, while dragging Yato back to the apartment.

5 minutes later...

You were both in the small apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a small living room. You only afforded it because you babysat for 40 years of your life.

"Don't steal Yukine's money! He saves up for a reason you know! If your gonna- *sniff* - just..." You broke down. Yato, waved his hands around like an idiot, because he didn't know what to do. "I'll stop! I'll stop! Just please don't cry!"

The boys walked in, and they started messing with Yato. "You made her cry~~~~" said Akira with a smirk. Yukine calmed you down, and gave you a hug. "Thanks for sticking up for me." You nodded.

"I'm going to sleep." You walked off, holding your arms shakily. "Wait- *slam*" You slammed your door.

*Yato's POV*

Oh gods, I made her cry... I looked over at her room, and felt really bad. She never cries! Never! Not even the one time I spilt ramen on her head! She would only get mad! I started walking to get room. I slowely opened the door, so that she wouldn't notice, and peeked inside.

She was laying down on her bed, asleep like an Angel. Hmmm, she looks so cute... Do I like her....?

Probably.

She turned around, and I heard her say my name, calling me a 'baka'.

*Your POV*

You awoke the next morning, smelling something good. You quickly got dressed in a baggy black shirt, and some shorts, as you opened the door, to get out. Yato was frying some eggs, bacon, and pancakes. You yawned, as you walked up to Yato, and hugged him from behind.

"Good Morning..." You said. No reply. You looked at his face and laughed. It was beet red, you wondered why.

TIMESKIP to Afternoon...

"Let's go do a job!" Said Yato. Well, you had nothing better to do... "Sure!" You replied. 'I mean, it can't go too wrong right?' You thought.

You two were putting up posters with his phone number on it when a lady called about her cat, 'Milord.' Was she Sebastian is something? Whatever. You both started calling out the cat's name.

You and Yato both walked onto the street, until you were both pushed out of the way by someone. You looked to see two bodies. One, a spiritual one, talking about how we should watch the road and all, and two, in the ground, practically passed out.

"You two could've died!" She finished. Yato and You both nodded, until he finally said, "That's great and all, but look." He pointed at the body. We watched as her spiritual form went right into the body. We left the crime scene.

"I feel like I should know what that is..." You said. Yato just waved it off with his hand. "She'll be fine! We can go check on her, at night." He finished. You nodded.

"Akira!" You said. The ring on your finger, turned into him. "Yes, Milady?" He said politely. "I told you to call me (Y/n)..." You pouted. He gave in.
"(Y/N)?" He said. You looked up and told him to find out what hospital the girl was in. He nodded. "Oh! And find out her name!" You added as he ran off.

'Hope she's ok. I'll buy her some flowers!' You thought. Yato, got another call, and this time, it was about scrubbing a whole bathroom. You nearly gagged, and refused to go with him. He got stubborn, and left, while you went to buy some flowers.

After you bought the flowers, you went back to the apartment. Akira soon, came back and reported that she was in Aikara Hospital, and her name was Hiyori. You started writing an apology letter for her.

Dear Hiyori,

We're both terribly sorry about what happened the other day. Hope you get well soon!

From: (Y/N) and Yato.
P.S.-- the flowers are for you.

It was almost Nighttime when you finished that letter, and Yato came back. "What took you so long? I already made dinner!" You whined.

"What is it?" He asked. "I made some Italian Pasta. It's called Spaghetti Bolognese. (A/N- It's regular red sauce Spaghetti. I lived in Europe for 3 years. Ima military child.)

"You two seem like a married couple!" Said Akira and Yukine. You blushed, and started to eat.

"Well, Yukine, please guard the house for a while! We'll be back in no time!" Said Yato. You and Yato jumped out the window, while Akira was on you're finger, as a ring. You did a few flips in the air, and landed on your feet, while Yato, somehow managed to get someone's drying blanket on his face, and fell face forward on the concrete.

"Baka..." You said while helping him up. "I'm a sexy Baka!" He said while posing. You both laughed as you made your way to the hospital. She was sleeping, when you poked at her face, and she awoke.

"Ah! It's those two idiots who didn't watch the street." She said. The word 'idiot' struck you, as you became paper white. Yato started laughing, "She called you an idiot! Hahaha!!!" He kept on laughing until he noticed, "Wait me too?!" Hiyori nodded.

You came back to normal. "These are for you!" You handed the flowers and the card to the girl, which she gladly accepted. Yato was being a creep, about how he was a God, and she even tried to call the cops. "Well, I guess your ok! Let's go (Y/N)!" He grabbed your hand, which made you blush a bit, as you jumped off the window sill.

Next Day...

"We still need to find that cat!" Said Yato.

Later...

"Milord!!!! Where are you kitty?! We have catnip for you!!!" You and Yato said. Finally, you found the cat, but it seemed to be staring at something.
"Milord!" Said Yato. The car came running towards Yato, and jumped right into his fluffy fluff.

Then, you sensed it. "Ayakashi!" You yelled. "Come to me, Katsu!" Your long, black blade came to you. It was similar to Yato's sword, except yours was midnight black. You sliced at the ayakashi, but there was just too much of them. "We can't do anything, run!" Said Yato. You followed his lead.

You didn't want to awaken you're powers, because then, you would slowely get out of control like the old you. As you both ran, a green toad ayakashi blocked your way. Suddenly, the same girl from before, Hiyori, grabbed the both of us and started running. She had a.... tail?

Later, we all finally lost that creepy frog. "Hey! Answer me, what was that?!?! I want some straight answers!" Said Hiyori.

Yato started explaining how she was in-between the worlds, and blah blah blah. He decided to help her, and so did you. "The price is 5 YEN!!!" You both said in unison. You felt like an idiot, but whatever...

This, led to a new adventure.
