Chapter 4- Amusement Park

*Your POV*

You woke up feeling something warm, holding you. You slowely opened your eyes, and noticed that Yato was holding you, and you laughed. It reminded you of the first time you met him. He stirred a bit, then woke up.

He looked at you, and blushed a bit. "Good morning." You said. He quickly got out of bed. "G-Good morning." He said. You breathed in dramatically. "Yato. What day is it?" You asked excitedly. He thought for a second.

"Wednesday. Why are you asking?" He said in a confused tone. You quickly grabbed your Samsung, and looked on your homescreen. There was a message from Itsu. "Yes!!!!!!!! I won the bet!!!!!!" You yelled.

That's when your familiars came in, wondering what the rucus was. "What's going on?" Asked Yukine. Your face beamed like the sun.
"We're going to the amusement park!" You said.

"HUH?!?!?!?!??!?!?!" Said everybody.

You explained how you had a bet with a man named Itsu, that you met at a grocery store. He said that he was an expert at history, and knew everything. You bet with him, that the Gods of Calamity, killed more than his number. And, you won.

"Cool! So when are we leaving?" Akira asked.

TIMESKIP to Amusement Park...

"Here's the ride you wanted to go on Yukine." You said. He nodded. We all looked at the rollercoaster.
"I-I think I'm going to s-sit out on this one..." said Akira. Yukine smiled devilishly while dragging Akira and the twins away. "Meet up at the parking lot in 4 hours!" You yelled were them. They all said an 'ok' and left.

Now it was only you and Yato. You looked at him, and noticed that he was staring at a restuarant. You laughed, as you grabbed his hand, and walked over to the restuarant. You went in, and ordered all types of food.

Yato are like a pig, while you had some sushi. After you paid and left, you saw a ride that caught your eyes. "Hey! Let's go on this ride!" You said. It was a Ferris Wheel. You both hopped in, and you admired the view.

"Look! I can see Yukine and the others!" Said Yato. You nodded. 'Wait, where's Ai?' You thought. You then, noticed that a guy was trying to flirt with her. You went full-mother mode.
"I'm going to kill that bastard." You said with a scary aura around you.

You opened the window, and jumped out. You saw that the guy, leading a scared Ai, to a corner of a shop.
"(Y/N)...." said Yato with his hand outstretched. He sighed dramatically, and followed after you.

"Hey! Let go of her!" You said running up to the guy. You didn't let him reply, as you drop kicked him on the head. He fell down. "Hey! Getting beat up wasn't part of the contract!" He said.

"You've done good with your job. You can die now." A voice said. Moments later, the guy's head was chopped off. You quickly told Ai to go get help. She nodded, as she ran off. "Who's there!?" You questioned. No answer, there was only laughter, that you had recognized.

"Haru....?" The laughing stopped. A shadow came out of the wall, to show an ayakashi that looked like a human, but one arm was a long blade. "Yes........ I'm back, Lady (Y/N). I'm back, to come and take your hand in marriage." He snickered.

'It's not him. It's an ayakashi that's controlling him. It's not him. I have to kill him." You thought. Then, out of nowhere, Yato appeared.

"Watch out!" He yelled. You didn't notice what Haru was doing, until he pierced his blade through your shoulder. You instantly spit out blood, as he pulled the sword out.

"(Y/N)!!!!!!!!!" Yelled Yato. Haru whispered in your ear saying that you'll meet again, before dissapearing. You fell to your hands and knees, and started panting. You felt a pair of hands pick you up, and carry you. That's when everything went black.

You woke up to a start. You looked around, and found yourself at Kofuku's house. You sat up, and felt a pain, in your shoulder. You touched your left shoulder, and winced. You saw that Yato was sleeping on a chair next to you. You stood up, and stumbled. You didn't fall though.

You slowely walked outside. You found yourself lost in thought.
'Was that really Haru? How does he remember me? Shinkis that have been turned aren't supposed to remember... unless there was one desire that they wanted no matter what... 'Im back to come and take your hand in marriage...' that's what he said though... so, this is my fault again huh... how much better have I gotten? From back then, to the me now?' You thought.

You chuckled, and held your shoulder, from the pain. 'Why did he use his sword on me? Theres no way...' You thought. You quickly took off you're shirt, and ripped off the bandages.
"(Y/N) What are you doing?" Asked a voice. You looked behind you for a second to see Yato.

You didn't care. You kept ripping off the bandages. "Oy! What are you doing?!" He ran towards you, trying to stop you. You finally took off the last bandage. You looked at you impaled shoulder, and dug your fingers straight in. You screamed in pain, and that's when the others came.

You saw that everybody was running towards you. You dug your fingers in deeper into the impaled skin, and felt something hard. You grabbed it, and pulled it out of you. It was the size of a bullet. Yato grabbed your arms. "Why the hell are you hurting yourself?!?!" He questioned.

You quickly thew the bullet as far as you could, and a few seconds later, it exploded. "It...... was...... a bomb.... He implanted...... in m-" You passed out from the lack of blood.

*Yato's POV*

Stupid (Y/N)... making me worry about her all the time... I looked at her beautiful face, and saw how badly injured she looked. I hope she'll be ok..... I need to find this Ayakashi again. How does he even remember her? An ayakashi can only remember if they really wanted something...

I did hear him say something about her hand in marriage. I'm starting to get mad at the thought. What is wrong with me?! Am I sick? My heart... it feels so tight... Is this what they call love? Probably. She started to stir a bit, before waking up. She sat up.

"Yato, sorry." She said. She looked as if she were about to cry. I hugged her gently, and told her it was ok.
"Do you know how much I was worried about you?!" I said. She nodded, and kept saying stuff like 'I'm sorry, and also It's all my fault.'

I can't take it anymore! "I-I can't help but worry you know! You may not know this, but you mean alot to me! What I'm trying to say is that, I love you! So stop making me worry." I looked at her, and paled. She is sleeping. M-my proposal.... well, at least now I know that I like her.

I will protect her with my life.
