Today she hung out with one of the drama kids.
Jason, you found out.
He's a freshman and gay.
You walked up to them.
"Did you see her outfit though?"
"I know right? Like, what was she thinking?"
"Nobody can pull of stripes, spots, and plaid!"
"Hey, guys," you spoke up.
"Hey!" Jason said enthusiastically, he's in your gym class.
"Hi," she smiled.
"Hi," you smiled.
Jason looked at you.
Then at her.
Then at you.
Then back at her.
His smile grew,
He backed away from the table
And murmured something
neither of you heard.
And you just stared at her, smiling.
As she stared at you.
