Today is the day.
After a month
of practicing
and rehearsing
it's finally time.
You're the second to last act.
Almost good enough to close,
but just not quite there.
You glance through
the slightly ajar curtains
and see the sea of people.
And in the third row from the front
you see your friends.
Mason, Jax,
Harmony, Melody,
and Her.
She glanced around
the darkly lit
auditorium in awe.
As if she's never been
into this enormous
battlefield.
Your eyes linger
on her.
Beautiful,
as always.
