Star from the Sea

What defines celestial beings?
What would life be if we were to assume
That there is only one place for the sun, stars and moon
Is the sun forever bound to its icy lonely sky?
Or does it visit your eyes everytime you smile?

Is the moon wed to the night?
Or does it brave the day
causing its tides react to each word you say?
All who hear it break free and dive for the water is warm, full of life

And the stars?
Yes the stars join in
Falling deep down into the deepest parts
They dwell in your touch
Your embrace of this life
Reaching the hardest of hearts
They share there their unique light
And surface on the ocean's shore to play in the tide
Watching the sun
For they are going home tonight
They need not fall at all
Yet they come illuminating hearts
You are one of these stars
