They met Gemma a month later. They were huddled near the fireplace, their room still bare as ever.

Gemma -flaming red hair, wide grin- appeared near the door, like magic.

"Hey, Tim! Just got back from the 21st century. Real-" She didn't even get to finish her sentence, Tim was already up on his feet, running towarss her.

Grabbing hold of Gemma's right arm, he shouted a quick goodbye at Lily, their figures disappearing. There was only a hazy look on the place thwy left, like a last imprint of the two.

Lily fluttered her eyelids slowly, making sure there were no tears rolling down. She gulped down an unfamiliar feeling, loneliness in it's simplest form. It wasn's like she hadn't felt it before, she did a couple of times. But it was Tim who left her, not some random family or people she hardly remembered. It was Tim, and Tim was different.

She wondered if she wouldn't feel loneliness if she never felt happiness in the first place. She stayed up all night, thinking about it.

She came to the conclusion, "Yes."
