Prince meets princess

chapter 8: brotherly love

When the bandit threw the fireworks out the window he didn’t notice that prince Kariya was already on his way to Kakeru’s classroom.

Bandit’s P.O.V

I bellowed them w/ laughter then when I saw the face of the brat who gave me that fire work smirking like it was a sign that they are I trouble but I shrugged it off like it was only nothing. I then saw something unexpected at the door way. I saw the Prince who was really mad I decided to toy with his little brother even more. I pulled the young prince’s hair, then he yelp in pain. But he bit his lips to prevent him from crying and he also kept calm like he was not afraid but from the looks of his eyes he was really scared and then tried dislocating his right arm and dropped him on the floor. I then stepped on his head in which made the older prince angry. He then spoke in a calm yet deadly manner which really scared me but I built all my confidence and gave off laughter. “Get your foot off my little brother or else you’ll face death itself.” He said in a harsh tone that made me flinch and the glare he gave me is really harsh that made me shrink and want scram off but I have to do this for my family. I was really caught off guard when I was day dreaming and didn’t notice him move from his spot.

Kenji’s P.O.V

When I glared at him he didn’t even notice me running for him he will pay for hurting my precious little brother. I hate to admit it though I really love him, I thought I hate him because he always have Ranmaru nii Sama’s attention but now I know what nii sama feels when Kakeru is being bullied or being kidnapped. I unsheathe my sword and held it near his neck. For some reason my blood was boiling when I saw Kakeru hurt and made as a stepping stone. “You broke my little brother’s right arm and you stepped on his head now you will face death.” I said. He looked like he was about piss himself but then again it was an insult to the royal family to be disgraced in front of our subordinates. “Do you have any last words before I put you to your death?!” I asked. He didn’t say a single word. “I guest this your end.” I said in a very cold manner which frightened most of the kids but Kakeru didn’t even flinch when he heard me talking I very cold manner, instead he looked at me with a relieved look on his face. “Kariya nii Sama, did you come to same me?” he asked. “Yeah, Ranmaru Nii would surely kill me if anything happens to our precious little brother, and I will certainly commit suicide when that happens.” I said very warmly to Kakeru. His eyes brightened up and then sliced the bandit’s foot with just air and came off clean with no blood spilling right before every child’s eyes especially Kakeru.

When the foot of the bandit Kakeru came running to Kenji like he was his father and started crying in front of everyone.

Kakeru’s P.O.V

When I felt the weight off me I started running to Kenji Nii Sama and then started crying. “Nii Sama I was so scared but I have to pull myself for everyone’s sake, it hurts Nii sama my right arm hurts.” I said sniffling. “Shhhh…. You’re okay now I got you.” Nii sama said to me tenderly. He then carried me and snapped his fingers, then the guards came the palace and then arrested to the person who tried to kill me. When I calmed down he still won’t put me down and went ahead carrying me to Ranmaru nii sama and nii sama’s classroom. When we came in the teacher was about to scold Kenji nii sama when Shindou nii stood up and walked towards me and then Kariya nii sama passed me to Shindou nii and apologized to the teacher for being late. There was silence until I saw Ranmaru nii sama, “Ranmaru nii sama!” I yelled and then Shindou lets me down and then I ran towards him. He was so shocked and then stood up and picked me up and then he started cuddling me like a stuff toy. “Kakeru, why are you here?” he asked. “Kenji nii sama saved me from an awful person who tried to kill me because Kyosuke gave that awful person a red fire work w/c indicates that I’m in trouble.” I said. “So where’s Kyosuke now?” Ranmaru nii sama asked. “Well I guess he’ll be here in 3……2……1” then the door slammed open which surprised everyone.

Kyosuke’s P.O.V

After making sure that everyone in the class was okay I followed Kariya sama and then he started to go faster. Then when I saw him enter the classroom and as Kakeru sama estimated I came on time to see him on Ranmaru sama’s lap. I went inside and knelt down to Ranmaru sama. “Your highness, I’m sorry for the intrusion I’m here to report what happened .” I said. then my nii san stood up and started cuddling me in which was embarrassing but I tapped his shoulders and pointed my thumb at the crowned prince. “I was going to report nii san but then you started cuddling me and your also embarrassing yourself.” I said then he stopped cuddling me and bowed down and starting to apologize. Then the crowned prince started shaking then we thought we might have angered him and closed our eyes. After the silence we heard giggling when we looked up we saw that Ranmaru sama was laughing at shindou’s way of explaining things to the teacher. Then I broke his attention by speaking. “Your highness I’m sorry for not being able to protect Kakeru sama. That man broke Kakeru sama’s right arm and stomp on his face. He then spoke “Kyosuke it’s alright because Kakeru told me that you bravely gave the bandit the firework and for that I thank you.” I was shocked because I thought he will imprison nii san because I’m still too young to be imprisoned.

Ranmaru’s P.O.V

When I saw Kyosuke’s shocked face I thought I might have said something I shouldn’t have but from the look on his I saw relief that his brother won’t be sent to prison. I then saw Shindou coming towards me and whispered something to me and shocked me.
