Chapter 9: Mother is pregnant?!

When Shindou whispered something to Ranmaru, Ranmaru was shocked to hear the news that his very own mother sent and wishes him to take care of Mariko while she takes care of the unborn baby and wants him to think of a name that will be perfect for the baby.

Ranmaru’s P.OV

When I heard the news that Shindou whispered to me I was shocked but at the same time happy that mother has another baby but I don’t think that giving me Mariko will help because Kakeru is little bit of jealous to the attention I’m giving Kenji but then again I know someone who can take care of Mariko. “Shindou sorry but I can’t take care of Mariko but I think Kenji can.” I said. Then he nodded approving my decision. “Alright I will tell your mother about it. I know she will be glad to let Kenji take care of Mariko.” He said then left the room for a phone call. “Ranmaru nii sama is something wrong with mother?” Kakeru asked innocently. “Well….. Mother is pregnant with a baby and the gender is not yet determined, so I can’t name the baby yet.” I explained to him. “Oh….. Then can I take care of the baby when he/she comes out?” he asked again. “I don’t know…. Well if you want then you can help your Kenji nii sama take care of Mariko.” I said then he pouted and said “No!” “Why?” I asked “Because Ranmaru nii sama will always be busy at work when I’m not around.” He said, and then I chuckled because he was acting spoiled even though I can’t concentrate w/o Kakeru by my side.

Kakeru’s P.O.V

Ranmaru nii sama is being mean again. He said that I can help Kenji nii sama w/ Mariko but I don’t want to be away from Ranmaru nii sama. I want him to take care of me even if he won’t make a big deal out of it because I really love my big brother for he raised me w/ patience and love even mother can’t give. I wonder if Kenji nii sama also feels the same way.

Kenji’s P.O.V

I wonder what aniue, Kakeru, and Shindou talked about? I was about to approach them when Kakeru said No for the first in front of Aniue. “Kakeru, what’s wrong?” I asked. “Ah, Kenji perfect timing! I have something to tell you so seat down then we’ll talk.” Aniue said. “So what is it Aniue?” I asked. “Mother is pregnant and wants you to take care of Mariko since I said No, in leaving Mariko in my care but I suggested that you will take care of Mariko since I already have Kakeru by my side.” Aniue said. “Eh, but what will happen to me? I don’t know how to take care of a baby, plus it’s giving me trouble.” I said. “Don’t worry, I will teach you but it would be up to you on how you would apply it.” Aniue said. “Okay, I will accept the request. Since Aniue is the one who suggested that it will be me who will be taking care of Mariko, I can’t sully the name of aniue in front of mother.” I said with pride and confidence. Then Shindou came in and said “Kenji sama, the queen said that she will send Mariko right away. She also told me that you should be careful because Mariko s a sickly child unlike Kakeru, Mariko is quite feverish so you better make sure that she stays warm. That’s what she told me.” Shindou said. “You are excused Shindou.” Aniue said. Shindou bowed and left towards his seat. By then their Homeroom teacher just finished the class schedule and left for his next class.

Normal P.O.V

After being excused Shindou left towards his seat and then the teacher for their language class came in and used the ENGLISH language to greet them. “Good Morning, class how are you guys doing?” the teacher said. The class was silent then Ranmaru stood up and greeted her in the same Language. “Good Morning sir, May I ask for your name?” Ranmaru said. The teacher was shocked but recovered himself quickly because it’s his first time to hear a student of his to speak in the same language as he greeted them. “Oh my name is Ronald Matsukaze. Pleased to meet you all. And your name?” Ronald asked Ranmaru. “Sir my name is Ranmaru prince of the herzenberg country.” Ranmaru said. Ronald then bowed down and gave respect to the young prince. “Sir there is no need to give respect to us because here at school, We are No Prince or Princess nor we are Nobles we are students here so no need to worry about the punishment that will be given to you inside this campus. You will be just doing your Job as teacher of this school so please don’t hesitate to punish us. Because we are here to learn and not to socialize w/ each other to improve our own country.” Ranmaru said wisely. The whole class agreed to this because they were sent there to learn how to rule and manage their own country and for them to learn things outside the palace. “Alright then class I will be your ENGLISH language teacher and I expect you all to try to speak in ENGLISH. But for the mean time I will let you all introduce yourself in ENGLISH, so try to speak even if it is simple English.” Ronald said. Then the whole class groaned on how bad they are in English. The first one to introduce himself is Ranmaru. “My name is Ranmaru Fukuzawa. I am the crowned prince the herzenberg country. I have a twin brother, a little brother, a little sister and a younger sibling whose gender is still unknown. I’m pleased to meet you all.” Ranmaru said. The whole class understood him well for his English was very simple and easy to understand. Next was Shindou. “My name is Shindou Namikaze. I am prince Ranmaru’s attendant. Pleased to meet you all.” Shindou said and then bowed. When Shindou was about to go back to his seat Ranmaru yelled “Shindou ease up will ya! If you keep up that stoic face of yours, you won’t get yourself a girlfriend!” Shindou was bright red from embarrassment. Then he ran towards Ranmaru and smacked him on the like he used to do when he gets that idiotic. “Ranmaru, you are such a jerk sometimes!” Shindou yelled at him. “Awe…. Come on Shin it’s just a joke and you’re my best friend how could I be a jerk. I just helped you ease up cause your way to tense about it.” Ranmaru said. Shindou sighed and forgave Ranmaru. “If you weren’t my best friend I could’ve chopped your head off.” Shindou muttered. “I know you love.” Ranmaru cooed. “Yeah yeah……” Shindou said. When they met each other’s face they couldn’t help but laugh at each other’s face but calmed down a bit, then they started laughing until they calmed down for good.

Shindou’s P.O.V

I haven’t laughed this much before. I guess being Ranmaru’s best friend is quite fun after all we spent most of our childhood together.

Mean while at the palace

Yuna’s P.O.V

“My dear king is it really alright for me to send Mariko away?” I asked. “Of course not but if you keep taking care of Mariko who will take care of the unborn baby? Plus Ranmaru us that Kenji will take care of Mariko right?” he said. “I know but if Kenji’s taking care of Mariko, I won’t be so sure that he will take care of her or even raise her properly. I mean Mariko’s a girl and Kenji’s a boy so wouldn’t it be better if someone who knows how to raise a baby girl take care of Mariko?” I said. “Of course my queen but Ranmaru’s still there to supervise Kenji. Plus didn’t you see how Kakeru acted when he found out that Ranmaru left him w/ you whom he doesn’t know as a mother but then Ranmaru explained it to him and now look at him whenever he sees you he calls you mother and hugs you right?” he said convincingly. “Alright then I’ll send Mariko right away.” I said. “No need to send her. I will personally bring her to the boys.” He said. “Alright but be careful my dear.” I said and then he nods and left for the visiting of the boys.

That’s the end guys I won’t be updating yet cause school is about to start so I’ll hold this until Christmas vacation comes. Bye bye…………
