Jimin~ POV

I was here at the same park again. Not the one near my old work place, the one near BTS Hotel. This park was much more fascinating. I've been here a couple of times, ever since I walked it off with Suga.

I found myself a nifty bench under a large floral tree. It was perfect shade, but enough light shone through it, so I could read. One of the reasons I was a teacher because I loved reading.

Every newspaper and book, I read it if I had my hands on it. Recently though, I lost my job and I've been burdened by the fact that I had to find one soon so I can move on.

I sat under my typical seat and read the section of local jobs. This time, I had an unusual feeling. Almost if I was being watched. Yet, I continued to highlight jobs.

The feeling was there.

Am I being stalked?

I glanced up and saw a woman pass by. She was a regular at the park. I watched her go. She had light brown hair and always wore professional clothing. I didn't worry about her.

Maybe I ate something bad this morning?

I looked at my news and there was a story on about the countryside. It seemed peaceful.

Who knows? I'll become a private tutor or a farmer.

I resumed to reading about the countryside of Korea. It was difficult to ignore, but the stalker feeling faded.

V~ POV

Jungkook and I used the address to locate the mask store. The store sold custom masks, plaster kits, decorations, etc. and was three stories high.

The first floor sold random masks. The second floor had mask supplies and such. So far it has been empty. The third was a studio and the owner occupied the place.

The mask store was named : Faux.

An older lady owned the place. She eyed us once we set foot on her studio. Jungkook didn't budge. He went straight in and showed his badge. The lady scowled.

"Ma'am, may you please answer our questions?," I asked.

She was silent but continued to roam around the store, fixing items.

"What?" She sternly demanded.

Before we came, we did research on this place and the owner's name was unknown.

"Do you perhaps, make masks similar to the Paper Gang's masks?"

The lady widen her eyes at Jungkook.

"No"

"Please be honest with your answers," I added while taking out a notebook.

"Do you provide services to the Paper Gang?" Jungkook asked.

"Are you clueless about the problem of the Paper Gang?"

"Do you receive large amounts of money from them? Or do you receive threats?"

The lady was still silent at Jungkook's questions.

"Please cooperate and answer those questions," I stated.

"I will call the police if you keep on loitering here," she grouched.

"Have you forgotten, that we are police?"

Jungkook took his badge out again. The lady continued to move some of her paints.

"Are you by chance, being blackmailed by the Paper Gang?" I suddenly asked.

I have a hunch.

This time, she looked at me with sincerity.

"And what if I was?"

Her answers were getting us nowhere.

"Look ma'am, we found a clue that leads to you. You are assumed to be conspiring with the Paper Gang. Are you?" Jungkook questioned.

Jungkook would always get straight to the point.

"No, I would never conspire with those rats. They think they can rule the city with money. I'm being forced to take the cash so I can live. Those masks were a piece of art. Now they disgraced it." She ranted.

I wrote it down on my note book while she turned her back to us.

"We can provide help," I insisted.

"Help? Help me by getting rid of those no-good gang members! They think they can come in and demand masks. They threatened an elder lady for god's sake! They think giving me money will make it right. I rather burn that cash then spend it!"

The woman was furious now.

"Finally! Finally police have figured to come here!" She babbled on.

I scribbled all of her said words and Jungkook backed up a bit.

"Ma'am, please tell us the location of the Paper Gang"

"Location?! I'm told to stay here and they'll-"

The loud gun shot was clear. Jungkook and I heard her body fall first before the glass shatter. We both dived to the floor and hid under the table near the windows. We were on the top floor of the building.

"Sniper!" Jungkook shouted.

I gulped. I hated being in this spot. I was cornered. We waited for a bit to hear anymore gun shots.

Jungkook threw an unfinished mask and tossed it high enough so the sniper could see it through the window.

Bang!

It happened so quick. The mask shattered into white dusty pieces and rained on the floor. I coughed at the debris. Jungkook crawled closer to the door and grabbed a small mirror.

He scooched to the window and positioned the mirror. I saw something sprinted across the roof. The mask store was the last building on this block. Across from where we were, was a distanced abandoned place.

Jungkook peeped throughout the window and started firing. I held the mirror and that's when I saw it.

Her mask.

"It's Kitty!" I shouted.
