Cute Stranger (Ashton Irwin)

Chapter 6

Ashton showed up on the side walk in a grey tank top and some skinny jeans. I smiled and approached this boy who was once just a cute strange standing before me. "Hey, you look great to go get pizza" he laughed "Thanks, I didn't know where we were going so I can change if you want?" he smiled a little "No, you look good." I smiled and looked down. "Thank you, are you ready to go?" I nodded and we started to walk down the side walk. We walked and talked about school and friends, he told me that he wasn't officially in a band but he plays a couple of songs with three other guys sometimes for a youtube channel. I loved thinking about how good Ashton's voice might sound while he sings. We finally arrived to the pizza place and it was pretty busy. We walked in and a women at a wooden counter said "One moment please". Ashton described why and how he started coming here and how he knows many people that work here. I smiled and went along with the things he said until the lady returned. "Follow me" she smiled kindly. "I have something special set up" Ashton said and smiled. We walked behind the counter into a room with a table for two set. I felt something on my hand and looked down. Ashton was holding my hand, I looked back up and met his gaze. "Are you ready to sit down?",I nodded and we took our seats. 

**About 30 minutes into the outing**

"I'm glad you decided to come out with me tonight" Ashton said as he began to look down at his hands that were folded in his lap. "I'm glad too, I'm really enjoying it" all I could do was look at every prefect feature that was placed along his face. "Really?" He asked looking back up at me "of course, did you not think I'm enjoying it?" I asked him tilting my head a little. "No it's not that it just..." He trailed off not saying what he was thinking. "Ash, you can tell me anything. I'm here to listen." He slightly smiled "it's just I can't do many things like this with Alexa... she doesn't let me..." He frowned and returned his eyes to meet his lap once again. "I'm sorry Ash. I wish I knew what to say. I mean I was cheated on so I obviously don't know much about relationships..." I frowned and tried to pretend like it was fake. "I'm sorry Brooke.." He looked back up at me and met my eyes."it's okay Ash things happen.". We carried on about how we wanted to burn Mr.Hightowers classroom down for being so pushy and demanding about everything. We laughed through dinner as I watched the cheese fall right off of Ashton's pizza and onto the floor. We both laughed "shit I wasn't supposed to get anything dirty" Ashton laughed as he spoke. I laughed a little and watched as he picked up the cheese from the floor. "How is dinner?" Ashton asked after removing the 3 cheese glob from the floor.  "It's amazing, thank you" I smiled at him. "Anytime.". We both stood up from the table and left the room. We walked to the front desk and Ashton payed, I offered many times for him to let me pay and e refused. 

Me and Ashton took the long walk back to my house and we talked more. About things like Alexa and what music his band plays. I love talking to Ashton it was comfortable. It was always a great time listening to his voice. He told me about the three other boys in his band, Michael, Luke, and Calum. I listened to stories about rehearsals and how Ashton wouldn't let Calum sleep on the couch because he wasn't giving it up for someone who didn't show up to rehearsals. I smiled as he went on about his life. It seemed so perfect.
