It was now two a.m and this drive up from Tampa Florida too Atlanta Georgia has been the longest drive ever. I'm about ten minutes away now from my new apartment , thank goodness cause I'm exhausted. As I approach a red light on an empty neighborhood street a police car behind me turns on its light signaling me to pull over. Great just what I freaking needed. I sigh and pull over too the edge of the road once the light turns green. I watch as the man gets out of his car , he seems about six feet tall and quite muscular due too his broad shoulders. I can't make out his face due too the very poor lighting by the street lights. I lock my car doors and put down my window once he approaches me. " what's the issue officer?" I ask and he leans down too the window.

" what are you doing out this late on a Tuesday night?" He asks. His face still a bit hidden by the shadows, bust from the looks of it he's quite good looking. " I'm actually driving up here from Florida , I was supposed be here a couple hours earlier but I got stranded on the highway for two hours " I say trying not too seem nervous. I see him look in the back seat , seeing a bunch of my things such as clothes and boxes.

" your tail light is out, did you know about that?" He says. " uh , no I did not... Is that a problem?" I ask. " I'm afraid so , I'd have to write you a ticket " he says. " cmon , it's two a.m and I'll I'm trying to do is get home ... Can't you just let this go just once?" I ask politely. " now why would I do that? I pulled you over for a reason " he smirks. Wow this dude is a complete douche.

" alright , fine give me the ticket please so I can just go home" I sigh as I start too look for my license and registration. I hand it too him and lean back in my seat with my hand on my steering wheel as I run my fingers thru my hair. He then comes back after a few minutes with my ticket and my license and registration. " now you have a good night , Ms.Kimberly Marquez" he says. " thanks" I murmur. " oh and welcome too Atlanta " he says with a smirk and he taps the top of my car and walks away. "Asshole" I say once I put up my window.

I eventually make it home and get the few boxes and clothes I had out of the car. I quickly take a shower and go too sleep , thank god I don't have too be at work until next Monday.

The next morning i wake up around eleven almost twelve and I decide to get this stupid ticket out of the way so I got to the dmv too pay it off. After waiting in line for hours I go and buy me some lunch. The rest of the day I shop around for some outfits and things for my new apartment.
