Coffee for two BOYXBOY

Chapter 3

Once again Matt sat at a table after getting his coffee. There was no note on the cup once he looked at it and he felt kind of let down. Perhaps Ryan chuckled because of Matts ignorance. Having falling for the trick he pulled. He sighed, taking a drink and looking out the window. He heard some footsteps and noticed someone sit across from him.

"Hey, what do you thi-" he noticed it was Ryan.

"Here" Ryan slid a note over to Matt. "I have to get back to work." He stood up, giving a wink to Matt before heading back to work.

Matt slowly opened the note, looking at what it said.

"Here's my number: 877-5540.
Xoxo- Ryan"

Matts cheeks once again flushed red. He stuffed the note into his pocket, grabbing his coffee and heading home. Once there he took out his phone and texted the number that he was given.

"Hey, this is Matt. I'm not sure if this is the right number for Ryan or not but uhm. Just wanted to say hi."

He wouldn't get a reply for the next few hours, due to Ryan being at work. Though his heart races when his phone did finally go off.

"Hey Matt! Happy to see you decided to text!"

Matt sighed a bit in relief. Though held it again once he received another text.

"I was wondering if maybe your busy this weekend?"

He thought about what he had to do before replying.

"Nah, I'm free. Why?"

"I was hoping maybe you'd like to Han out?"

"Yeah, that would be nice."

"Great! Meet me at the park on west street at 3. See you then!"

"Sounds good. See you then."

Matt smiled to himself. Oddly excited to get to hang out with Ryan but trying to calm himself down. He still had no definite proof Ryan was exactly hitting on him, and no idea if Ryan was even gay or not. He would just have to see how this played out, and be careful so he wouldn't chase Ryan away.
