Grayson's POV

What was wrong with her? Why did she just run off? I kept playing the conversation over and over again in my head. Was she crying? I looked over to my side to see she left her phone next to me. I opened it and seen that there wasn't a password on it. I put in my contact and texted myself so I had her number too.

I them went out the same door she did and tried to find her. I went down the hallway and seen her leaning up against the wall, holding her knees up to her chest.

"What's wrong?" I ask. She didn't answer. "Skyler please... What's wrong?" She then looked at me.

"I'm sorry" she says wrapping her arms around my neck. She then stopped and went back to her position she was already in. I looked at her again and saw that her make-up was smeared and her eyes were red.

"Sorry I'm a mess" she said.

"Don't worry about it" I said. I tried to hug her, but she wouldn't let me. It was like she was scared.

"Do you wanna blow off school?" I ask her.

"Why so we can get caught" she said sniffling.

"No I've already done it a lot of times. They won't catch us... Trust me." I said trying to cheer her up.

"Why the hell not" she said wiping off her tears and standing up.

"Follow me, it's already 4th period and the hall monitors are out in the halls." I said as I stood up looking behind me.

I looked around the corner and saw that no one was in that hall. I signaled her to come towards me and then we ran down the hall together. We finally got out the door only almost getting caught about 2 times.

Right when we got out I looked over to Skyler and she had a big smile on her face. She then saw me looking at her and her smile disappeared from her face.

"Why are you so... so... mysterious" i said finally getting the works right. I didn't want to offend her, i just wanted to know a little more about her.

"Look" she said. "I'm not one of the people that "cry's" in front of people, especially when i just meet them. So, you should feel very special. But maybe not because I cry all the time. Just not in front of people." she added on.

"Oh I promise you i won't tell anyone." i said. I could feel that in my heart that i knew that i wasn't going to, and i just wanted her to believe me.
