Finding Him

Skyler's POV

Its been 2 weeks since the first day of school, and since the first time since I've seen Grayson.

Anna showed me her friends. I liked all of them, so we where kind of a group. They all said that we where a "squad". I liked that, knowing that i belonged to something.

Theres names were Raquel, Kenna, and Amanda.

Raquel was funny. She would laugh at the jokes that Kenna would make. But when she did sge couldn't sit up. It was like she couldn't control her body, which made everyone else laugh.

Kenna was very special. She loves to make people laugh, and make a lot of jokes. She was tall, a little bit taller then me. She made me laugh a lot, even on the days i didnt want to.

Amanda was the one that liked to make sure everyone was ok. She always asked me if i was fine or if i was ok. I liked that about her, even though i kept saying i was fine.

And Anna. Anna was the one that i knew i could count on. She never swore and she was always with me.

Grayson slowly went into our group. He always sat with us at lunch, and i was fine with that. We normally hang out together after school and only a couple times did all of us hang out together.

Grayson and i had P.E., study hall, and math together. Even though he was a grade in head of me. He wasnt really good in math, so the teacher had to help him out a lot.

It was now 9th hour and it was study hall. I always got there before Grayson, and he would always sit by me when he came in. I sat down and looked at the door. Then, right on time Grayson came in.

"Hey" he said.

"What's up?" i say back opening my book.

"That civics test is so hard." he said once he sat down. "I think i failed it!"

"Don't say that" i told him.

"I really do. It probably wouldn't be hard for you though, cause your a lot smarter than me."

That made me smile. I put my finger on the part of the book i was on and looked at him. "I'm not that smart." i said. I then looked back in my book.

"Whatever you say book worm." Grayson whipered back. He was right though, i loved reading.

"Do you wanna go to the park or something after school?" he asks.

"Sure, what are we going to do?" i ask.

"I don't know. Talk." he said.

I know he wanted to talk because i still havent told him that much about myself, but he knew i wanted to.
