I Slapped You

Chapter 10

   Louise arrives to her own doorstep and her stomach begins to churn because she knew what she had to do. When she opens the door, her father Bob, greets her "Hey, Louise. How was school today?" Louise looks at him and screams "STOP ASKING ME SO MANY QUESTIONS GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK, DAD. I KNOW YOU KNOW I LIKE BOO BOO BUT GIVE IT A REST. FREAKING, DAD WHY DO YOU DO THIS CRAP. YES, I KNOW IM DATING BOO BOO. SO WHAT? IS THAT YOUR BUSINESS?! GO AHEAD. TELL ME I TOLD YOU SO. I DON'T CARE. I LIKE BOO BOO. PLEASE DO MY A FAVOR AND PUT A RUBBER BAND AROUND ABOUT 20 PENCILS AND PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH AND PUNCH THE ERASERS. AND ALSO-" Bob interrupts. "Louise, you have a boyfriend? That's great! I'm glad you chose Boo Boo. I think he might be the only boy I approve of in this town at least." Louise closes her eyes and clenches her fists and whispers, "Please father. Please stop speaking." Her mother, Linda comes in the living room. "Hey my sweet girl! How's it hanging?" Bob begins to tell
Linda the news. "Linda, you will not believe what Louise just told me." Gene interrupts obnoxiously, "LOUISE TOLD YOU ABOUT MY CORNS ON MY TOE??" Bob says confused "Gene. No. Louise is dating Boo Boo. That's what the news was. Why would she tell me about the corns-" Linda screams in excitement, "OH MY GOSH MY BABY HAS A BOO BOO!" She grabs Louise and picks her up "LOUISE MY BABY I LOVE IT!!!" Louise pushes away from her mom, "MOM! GET OFF ME." Tina inputs, "Gene, as much as the corns on your toe interests me, I never thought Louise would ever have a boyfriend. I honestly don't know which I'm more excited about. I think I'm going to have to go to my room and think for awhile."
    Louise knew this was all going to happen. She hated having this much attention on her social life. She runs to her room and calls Boo Boo to tell him she couldn't do it anymore. If she couldn't handle it from her family how could she handle her school knowing?         
Boo Boo answers enthusiastically,           "Hello, turd face! How's the stinkiest girl I know doing?" Louise smiles just because of the sound of his voice. No one can change her mood like he can. "I'm doing great, buttwad." Boo Boo was relieved. He thought she was calling to tell him not to tell anyone else that they were dating. Louise decided not to tell him why she really called. She decided to deal with the gut wrenching pain of having to deal with people in her social life. Boo Boo interrupts her train of thought and says "not to be weird or rude or whatever, but why did you call me? Sorry, I just love hearing your voice." Louise smiles and  decides not to tell why she really called. "That's funny! Cause I love yours too. I just wanted to hear your voice that's all. I better go now, need to eat dinner. See you at school tomorrow. Love and hate you, beautiful trash bag." Boo Boo gets the biggest smile on his face. "Love you too."
