I love reading.
I really want that guy from that romantic story to hug me, right now.... I really want that gadget from that sci-fi thriller... I really want to be in that place, where there are beautiful orchards, like in that general fiction story...
Am I for real? Or am I just a culmination of desires that arise from reading stories of different genres?
If Wattpad can be credited for anything, it would be this; first and foremost, it has made all of us love reading once again.
There are people who were already reading and came here in search of more stories. Some of us had lost touch with that side of our personality that loved books - be it due to work or college, but Wattpad got it back. Some came here to write, to get feedback for their written word and got bitten by the reading bug along the way.
But if there's one thing that we all have in common, a significant time into our Wattpad journey, is the love of stories and poems - the love of reading.
Today, let's take a moment to celebrate the idea of Wattpad... Let's start by mentally thanking the entire team of Wattpad - those who manage it, the ambassadors, the writers and of course, readers like ourselves. In times of violence around the world, may Lord bless their souls and those of their loved ones.
Today, let's love the life that we have and respect that of others. And, not to forget, let us read more and enrich our minds!
