Makoto's POV...

Filing up all the tragedies that had happen so far, Monokuma, our principal, had announced something unexpected, that took us by surprise. In his words, he devised up a special day break to our death game routine. The rope of suicide on our necks, he cut out our thoughts on this announcement, allowing us to take fresh airs, pausing our upcoming punishments on a any moment event.

"Today, you all will be having a Halloween!" He spoke in joy, standing at the platforms on the stage, "themed with monster costumes and thrilling games that I've prepared for you all"

However, we all objected to this. Monokuma isn't the kind being who would just let go of the Death game he just prepared, which is why we haven't had the slightest bit of trust in him if he ever said the word "Game" as well. In many ways, we all knew his personality very well, he loves to despair, violence and chaos. Or in his way of saying, "Thrills, Chills, and Kills!" That killing words will never fade away from his tone. His easy going and cheerful at times but with a very sinister undertone. Under that event he proposed, he must've have dirty motives to incorrectly accuse one of us again with lies and cheat in other ways to continue his love of despair. Madly loving the scenario that we'll kill one another again.

"Whats wrong everyone?" he playfully tilted his head as if questioning our obvious roles. Quietly observing us, judging of our silence and complains to this, he finally asked "Don't like the idea?"

"Yeah" Mondo sarcastically spoke, ready to earn a reasonable explanation, "Why are we just going with the flow and agreed on to this Halloween you speak off?"

"Agreed, we all had enough of where this event will go" accompanied Celestia. Clearly knows about Monokuma's habit to say and do whatever he wants with us.

"Plus.." Chihiro shyly added, "w-we don't trust you.."

"wha~?" He tilted his head again, but this time on the other side, "Is that why?" He raised his polar arms up high, as if cheering us up, "All I wanted was for you all to have fun for once before we get back to our usual day of murdering each other~as credits to our dear readers who's clearly reading our every words about now~" I don't understand what he meant about readers but I can only say that he's really desperate to insist on his Halloween fiasco idea.

"So your saying, to this very day, there won't shed any blood? killing included as well?" Togami spoke in question.

"You have my word, Togami-kun~" Monokuma bowed gracefully, attempting a great deal with him. We all stared, almost not believing what was going on. Are we going to trust Monokuma in this, Halloween he proposed? I looked back at Kaneki, who was sitting among the benches, quietly reading a book he found at the library. Not caring of whats happening around him yet I had this feeling that he was listening this whole time. Walking up to him, I began to question him. Asking what are his opinion to this event.

"A Halloween event..if he did promised to stop this "Battle Royale" themed game, then wouldn't a special day break would be a great deal?" I slowly nodded to this but then asked him about his trust with Monokuma in this. "Monokuma. I don't I trust him. Not one bit.." My thoughts exactly.
