Chapter four

Taylor's POV
"Morning little guy" I said to Henry taking a sit beside him at the kitchen counter. "Morning auntie" he said with a sweet voice while pouring himself some milk into his bowl filled with some chocolate cereals. "Hey there" Alexis said while getting herself a cup of tea."hey" I said "wanna come over at the company? I can show you my office" I added having a childish smile on my face. "Are you kidding, I would love too. And hey maybe I can get you some really nice pictures of us and Reuben for your table. How's that?" She asked. "Sounds good" I answered.
We had breakfast and I went to get ready because Alexis already did,she was early because she had to take Henry to school since the school bus broke down. We both got out from our apartment and locked the door. We took a taxi and dropped Henry off to school.
After sometime we arrived at the company and Alexis was super excited. I signed in and Alexis and I were good to go. "This place is huge!" She said. I looked at her and said "wait until you see my office". We took the elevator and headed to my office. On our way  to the office I saw the lady who brought me in yesterday so I stopped by and gave her thanks since she helped me out, she also informed me that Mr. Giovanni was already in.
"You are so screwed right now! Your boss is already in and you come in this late" Alexis said giving me a weird look. Actually I wasn't late I think he was the one who was early today. I wondered why tho. "Relax will you, he's the early bird here. I'm on time" I said to Alexis while showing her the door to my office.
"Wow!... Girl this shit is awesome..." She said when she jumped on my office chair and started spinning on it. She loved the view outside. We started talking so much and we were actually really loud. We were just like college students. She promised to get me the pictures right this moment after she leaves the office.
Alessandro's POV
I was in the office with Diego when I heard some really loud noises like teenagers in the office."you got teenagers around here?" Diego asked. "Let me try to see where it's coming from" I told him as I got up from my seat and went outside my office. "Wait up for me, I'll be on my way to the office." Diego said standing up and heading towards me.
As we were on our way I took a quick peek at Taylor's office good thing all our office doors were translucent so you could actually see shadows of people inside. I stopped and Diego starred at me weirdly. "Why are we stopping?" Diego asked. At the moment the noises stopped and I didn't really care where they were from really I just wanted to see Taylor. "Come see her." I said to him. As I was walking towards her office door Diego grabbed my shoulder making me stop. "See who?" Again he questioned. "Will you just come! And I'll tell you afterwards." I said.
I opened up the door finding Taylor talking to another young gorgeous lady who was actually seated on Taylor's office chair. "Mmh... Mmh.." I coughed and finally had both of their attention when the other lady stood up and then Taylor afterwards.
"Am I interrupting something?" I asked, Diego starring intimately at the other girl. " no not really sir.. Um ... She was leaving... Morning sir." She answered nervously. I could hear it from her voice she was somehow scared. "Okay then, well I wanted you to meet someone really important my best friend, Diego, he is more like family." She went for a hand shake and I told Diego that she was Taylor Bradley. He turned on my face and gave me a smirk. "And this is Alexis my best friend more like my sister.." She said not being sure if she wanted to say that at all.
This time I went for a hand shake and so did Diego but he had this look on his face when he was holding hands with her. I coughed once more giving Diego a sign that he should let go and finally he did. I was certain Diego had a crush on Taylor's friend I just had to make sure my instincts were true.
"Well then, get back to work!" I said . Diego and I left the office and went back in my office. "You never told me she had a best friend who was that perfect." He said pushing me. "That's because I didn't know, but have you seen her?" I asked excitedly. "Of course I saw her, she was right there when I met the lady that I now think I have a crush on." He said leaning against the door. "Snap out of it and help me here, will you"I told him placing my hands across my chest. Then that's when we both saw someone leaving the office when Diego held the door opened as he was trying to go back at Taylor's office. It was Alexis leaving. "You know what just get the girl, I know you, with all the charms and everything you'll get her. Sorry tho I have a shot I need to take." He hurriedly said and quickly left the office, letting my door shut on his way out.
He was really into the girl I could see it in his eyes. I knew Diego for a really long time. As my best friend I knew him just like the back of my hand. This guy I saw right now was inlove.
I went over at my seat and took a pencil that I was using on my table and started rolling it around my fingers. Then I took out a white plain paper and started sketching what was on my mind.
I had different sides that only I knew most of them. One of them was art, I loved expressing my emotions through art. I had an art gallery just for myself and no one knew about it. I think I had new ideas on my new sketches and it was all about Taylor.
Taylor's POV
After Alexis leaving the office I had to get to work but all the time I thought about my boss. I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing I just thought about him. I had the urge to see him once again and maybe having a close body contact with him.
I couldn't believe that I had these type of thoughts over my boss and not only that I knew i had a boyfriend who loved me so much, but somehow I think all that was going to be over because there is something with Alessandro that I can't seem to turn down anytime soon.
My door flew open and I really wanted it to be Alessandro but it wasn't. Andrea was right there smiling at me with flowers in his hands. And I mean really nice bouquet of flowers.
"Morning princess" he said "may I come in" he gave me a really sweet warm smile that I just never wanted it to fade. "Morning... Sure come on in" I said trying to have the cutest smile on me. He walked all the way towards my office wall, where there was an empty vase on the shelf by the wall. He put them there and looked at me "I noticed the vase was empty so I got you flowers." He said. I got up and went straight to where he was standing at and took the note that was hanging over the flowers. "I love them" I said, they had a really nice scent. I then opened up the note that said "I wanna take you out for dinner tonight, please don't say no." I don't think if I can really go out with him, Reuben would kill me if he finds out. So I had to come up with an excuse but he was so sweet.
"Hey, I would really love to go out with you but I just can't I have a lot of work I need to cover but maybe next time." I said. "I can talk to my brother,I'd really love to take you out"he said. "No don't...I promise we can do that some other time."I said walking right back at my table.
He walked towards me and came really close,he looked at me right through my eyes and said "you are not lying now are you?" He asked in a smooth voice. Shoot! Am I that easy to read or is it written on my face when I lie about something.
Suddenly the door opened guess who showed up now, Alessandro came in. "I can see you've met my brother" he said his tone pretty deep and raspy. The type of voice I'd love to hear from any guy. "Someone tell me what's going on here." He added after the awkward silence. I couldn't say anything I just stood there like an idiot. "Nothing really....  Hey could you spare her tonight I want to take her to this awesome place that I..." Alessandro cut Andrea off before he finished speaking. "No can't do,there's a lot that needs to be done." He said not even smiling. He was too serious and that made me fiery. "Just this once" Andrea said pleadingly. "Andrea that place can wait, this work here can't. Taylor get back to work and make sure I get to see all the work done before you go." He said in a heavy tone and left. Then he stopped and added "Andrea in my office now!"
"I'll talk to him"Andrea said. "No don't, just go see him,listen... I promise we can do this some other time." I said. He looked at me sort of disappointed and left pretty sure heading over to his brother's office.
Alessandro's POV
I was in my office waiting for Andrea to show up, after some seconds the door opened and Andrea came in. I was really furious but I tried my best to hold it in, in fact I couldn't be mad it's not like I owned her or anything. I needed to constantly remind myself that she wasn't mine and who knows maybe she has a boyfriend.
"I told you not to mess around with my employees" I said in a harsh tone. "I'm not messing around brother, I was just asking her out... What's the biggie in that?" He said randomly waving his hands. "Really?? the biggie.." I asked furiously "can't you see you are distracting her! She is just new here and you're all over her!" I shouted hoping she wasn't hearing the argument we were having. "What's really up with you man... Now you talk of distraction?? You of all people shouldn't even say that word, remember the time you were screwing your fucked up girlfriend on that table?" He asked and he seemed really pissed. "You didn't care If you had work to be done, but I come here just to talk only for some minutes and you tell me I'm distracting her..." He added not giving me a chance to speak. "You're being selfish Alessandro" he said with a low tone. "I have work to do, do me a favor and leave" I said taking a seat. "I wasn't going to stay anyways!" He said and left.
I knew I had to stop the argument or it would lead to something else. I wasn't feeling good about being so rude to my brother, I really wanted this to stop. But seeing him that close to Taylor triggered my anger and brought out that beast in me. I'm glad that it wasn't that bad but I knew it was going to get bad not with only Andrea but with any guy close to her.
I decided to get back to work and forget what just happened few minutes ago. I did everything I could but it was really hard for me to concentrate. I had to talk to Andrea if I wanted to feel better, I thought. I knew I had to apologize at least say sorry but I knew I couldn't be fake I had to be straight with him.
It was already noon and I had to get something to eat, so I got up from my chair and checked my phone for any calls, but I didn't have any. I sort of missed Kyra she never texted or called since our little incident and I started feeling bad about it and since her birthday was almost near I knew I had to go see her.
I tossed my phone on my table and left the office. As I was passing by I took a peek at Taylor's office and knew that she was in there because I could see  a shadow from afar. I had to take my chances maybe just find a reason to talk to her.
I opened her door and walked in the office, I closed it on my way in and she just kept on  staring at me. "Why aren't you out for lunch?" I asked scratching the back of my head. "Um... I....I... Ahhhh... There are a lot of things I need to do." She said, again she sounded nervous. I hated the thought that I scared her I hope that I wasn't.
"No stop... Get up I'm going to get you something" I said and put a simple and light smile on my face. She looked at me for some seconds and looked away, it was like she was thinking about something and she snapped out of it. I wish I knew what was going on in her head.
"But I really have to get this work done." She said calmly looking towards her computer. Like I said I had to take my chances and go for the shot. So I walked over at her computer and switched it off , "you are coming with me, you have to eat something. There is no way I'm letting you starve because of some work that we can actually do together." I said and I was super happy to see that I could make her smile so adorably. She smiled and did that sexy thing with her lips again, immediately I turned away and stood a bit far from her.
"Fine but you'll surely help me out" she said with a really cute smile. She got up from her chair as she quickly organized her table and took her phone. She tucked her hair behind her left ear and she couldn't stop smiling, I wondered why. She was beautiful with each and every passing second. I wanted her closer than ever, her eyes were gorgeous, her curves were perfect and i knew I was getting harder and harder just by looking at her.
We were on our way to the elevator when I spotted Andrea. I knew if he would see me having lunch with Taylor he would think it's personal, which it is personal but I didn't want him to get it that way. "Hey Taylor.. Um.. I just remembered there is someone I have to meet right now, I don't really think if I can waste any much of his time so I'll just get going..." I had to come up with an excuse and maybe this sort of worked. "Make sure you get something to eat" I added but I could see the look of disappointment on her face, it's like she really wanted to have lunch with me and I just had to be a dick. I couldn't do that after telling my brother to stay away from her if I get close to her and Andrea finds out the reason why he will hate me forever.
Taylor's POV
He quickly left, while I was just there standing. I was really not in the mood anymore of eating anything so I decided to get back to my office. I was really happy seeing him trying to work with me, I think I was overexcited and I couldn't hide it because I was smiling all the way till when he said he had to see someone.
Before I left I thought I saw someone like Andrea from afar, I wasn't really sure if it was him. But I think it was because he was wearing the same clothes he wore in the morning. I didn't know what he was doing because he was just standing staring outside holding a Starbucks cup.
I decide not bother so I went back in my office and proceeded with my work. It took me hours to complete it and I was just super exhausted, I couldn't take it anymore. I kept on making calls to the lady who brought me in asking her if Mr. Alessandro came back at the office.
I started thinking of how our conversation would have been if we had lunch together. I just couldn't take it I decided to grab some papers and go over to his office. No one was there just his coat hanged behind his chair and some papers on the table.
I really wanted to know what he was doing so I started going through his stuff I knew that I was gonna get fired if anyone would find me. I saw a picture of him and his brother together and I think his parents were on the other, it was really sweet of him.
I think I saw his phone on the table and asked myself as to why he left it. When I was about to get it something caught my eye, it was a drawing more like a sketch of a lady looking on the other side,so I really couldn't tell who it was that he was sketching but it was pretty amazing.
I heard someone coming my way so I stopped doing whatever I was doing and acted normal when Andrea walked in. "Hey!" He said "where is he?" He asked. "I don't know he told me that he was going out to see someone." I replied. "Okay then thanks." He gave me a smile and making his way back. "Are you okay?" I asked, because he didn't seem fine to me. He nodded his head still smiling and then left.
I released my breath and thanked God that I wasn't caught, I made my way back to my office. Since I was tired and just needed a break I took my phone out and started texting Reuben I needed to get back to reality.
Me: hey babe!... You coming tonight?
Reuben: no can't do love, got some extra shifts I have to pick.
Me: okay then 😞
Reuben: ill take you for lunch tomorrow 😘
Me: love you 🤗😘
Reuben: me more ✊🏻 got it 😄
That's how the rest of my noon was texting and talking with my cell and waiting patiently for my boss to come back but he didn't. It was 7pm and I had to leave the office I took my stuff and left and went back home I was super tired and kinda angry that Alessandro didn't come back. I just wanted to know where he was.

I got back home and didn't find Alexis. I went into the kitchen and found a sticky note on the fridge "hey I just got myself a hot date tonight, I would be late. Henry is at a friend's place I'll come back with him. P.s. I'll tell you everything tomorrow." I smiled and opened up the fridge and took a can of soda and some chocolate cake outside and placed them on the table.
I went and took a hot relaxing shower and went back for my cake. "It's just you and me tonight" I said and started eating my cake while checking my emails. Then I got an email from the company saying that tomorrow was day I'm going to be made officially know as the assistant executive of the CEO. I smiled and went on eating my cake.
Alessandro's POV
I never went back at the office again I was in a bar in a hotel having loads of shots. I received an email informing me that the board has arranged for Taylor's approval tomorrow. She was going to be officially registered.
I took few more shots of vodka and left. I couldn't go back home  so I was searching for my phone so I could at least text Andrea. For a moment I thought I had lost my phone then I remembered that I left it on my table at the office. I told my driver to take me back at the office so I could get it.
I got at the office and no one was there except for the security guards. I thought Taylor was still in but she wasn't, I went for my phone and saw the sketch I made, I took a moment and looked at it , sincerely I loved all my drawings but I was going to love this one a little bit more.
I took some minutes and went through my phone. I had nine missed calls from mom and I knew that she was worried so I called and talked to her, I let her know that I was going to be late. Andrea also called me,I think mom asked him to call me when she couldn't get to me. I texted him letting him know that I was okay and promised myself to talk to him tomorrow. Right away I thought of Kyra, I knew I had to make peace with her.
"Where to boss?" One of my guards asked me before I got into the car. "Kyra's" I answered immediately he signaled the driver and we left. It was exactly midnight when we got at Kyra's place. I rang the doorbell more like six times I thought maybe she wasn't in.
I was about to leave when I heard the door opening so I stopped. She looked a bit miserable and I knew that I did this to her. "What do you want?" She rudely asked. "Let me in" I said. She left the door opened when she left me behind. I got to her and grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me. There wasn't a space left between us,I looked at her straight into her eyes "I missed you" she tried pushing me away but I was too strong for her and we both knew she was just pretending she was upset so she could have my attention.
"Don't you??" I asked when she just kept looking at my chest. "I'll leave if you want me to." I added. "You are drunk!.. And you come here saying you miss me? Do that when you are sober!." She shouted and quickly got out of my grip. She was really getting on my nerves so I decided to leave.
I went back at home and before I went in my room I went to see where Andrea was. I quietly opened his door but he wasn't in. I decided to go look in his music room when I found him writing something, I knew it was a song he is working on, so I decided to let it go and go to sleep. I needed to get some sleep because I was really tired and had too much to drink for a night.
