The greatest thing

People say they can tell
that he loves me
by the way he smiles
when he looks my way.

They all had no idea
that every time he smiles—
I'm
the one who falls in love.

Every time I rest
my head on his chest
the calm of his heart beat
takes my breath away.

They didn't know
that falling in love with him
is the greatest thing
my heart will ever do.
