CHAPTER 6
“What.”
“I was feeling lonely! You were on set! You didn’t allow me to work or whatever, and the only company I had was Dec!”
“Still isn’t a good enough reason. Might never be.”
“Don’t be unreasonable, you know that-“
“I know what? What were you going to say?” I said, “I’ve been entirely clueless about everything that’s been happening for the past week and let me just tell you this, it’s really stupid to hear news from somebody else that doesn’t even know the source.”
“This is very immature,” Georgette snapped at me, desperate and completely foolish, like a peasant on Christmas day.
"I am an actor, after all.”
“I need you to listen, really.”
“I’ll listen when you cut your crap. In fact, I’ve been listening to nonsense since before.” I turned my cheek to the other side and started humming a soft tune.
“Well hey you guys!” Nicole’s voice chirped in a clearly unconvincing tune. “Georgette, I didn’t know you were headed here.”
