I was in the living room, watching me and Haylie's egg that she gave birth to it 2 days ago. I've been like this ever since it first came out. I was just right there, on the floor, right on my plastron, and watching the egg up to where my nose was. "Egg hatching countdown, 8 days left." I said to myself.

I touched the egg with my hand as I gave it a little smile. "Hey there baby girl, there's a new world out here waiting for you. Your mother and I will live together with you, your aunts, and your uncles in this world."
"Hey Raph, are you talking to your egg?" Mikey asked as he came into the room and sat criss cross applesauce next to me.
"Yeah. I'm talking to her." I said as I turned my head back to the egg. "I'm just excited for her to hatch."
"I know how you are Raph, you're not that type to be soft around anyone."
"Well, Haylie changed me. Since the beginning Leo and Aqua brought her home. I was in total love with her and I wanted to show her that I cared, and it did. And I was really happy to know that we're going to have a baby."
"And now we're waiting for her to come out of that egg so she can see you and Haylie." Mikey smiled.
"Yeah." I smiled and looked at my baby egg. "So how's my love?" I asked him.
"She's sleeping."
"That's good. Imagine if she hatched during our mutation day? That would be the best gift ever."
"It would make you really happy!" Mikey smiled. "Oh! I made something for her." Mikey got up and went into his room. A few seconds later, he came back with a knitted white teddy bear and places it beside the baby egg. "Aqua showed me how to knit and I did this bear for her."
