Sasuke P.O.V.

My eyes slowly opened to a blurry room. Once my eyes had adjusted I got off my bed but paused in my steps. Naruto wasn't in the room and the smell of something burning wafted from somewhere in the house. I rushed around the house to the kitchen. Naruto stood in front of the oven, a thick smoke swirling around him. I turned and grabbed the fire extinguisher to put out the fire.

A pile of white foam and burnt food burbled on my stove top. I turned to face Naruto. His head was bowed and is hands were folded politely over his stomach. His face was smudged with black. I walked up to him and placed my hands on the sides of his face and tilted his head up. I rubbed my thumbs over his cheeks in attempt to get the black off. I grumbled when that failed. I pulled Naruto over to the sink. I grabbed a wash rag and soaked it with soap and water. I brought the soapy rag to his face and washed his cheek.

I gasped. There were marks on Naruto's face. I leaned closer to inspect them. Three distinct scars placed like whiskers were embedded into his face. A small growl rumbled from my throat. I brought the now slightly dirty rag to his other cheek. I rubbed the rag against his face, careful not to hurt him. He whimpered, trying to pull his face away. I held his face firm and glared at the now six scars on his face. I looked into Naruto's eyes, hoping for an answer. They were sad and glazed. He grabbed my hand and slowly led me to my living room.

Naruto sighed and sat down on the couch. I sat down beside him and looked calmly into his eyes. He grabbed a hold of my hand and squeezed it tightly. His body leaned towards mine and he laid his head on my shoulder. I brought me arm around his waist and pulled him closer. I gently placed my head on top of his, the hair on his head tickling me a bit.

"Can I assume that you know that my parents are dead." I asked while moving further into the crevice between Sasuke's neck and shoulder. A hum vibrated from his throat.

"Well, I saw it happen. I was hiding in my closet when a man killed my parents. He heard me crying and ripped the door open and pulled me out. He started chuckling and pulled out a knife. He leaned forward and whispered into my ear." I said, shaking as I remembered the horrifying scene.

"Do you remember what he said?" Sasuke asked quietly. His thumb was rubbing my side soothingly. I nodded my head a bit and took in a deep breath.

"He said" I paused. After taking a few deep breathes, I spoke again. "I will give you a gift so I can find my little fox later". I reached my hand up to my face and slowly grazed my fingers over the scars. Hot tears were pooling in my eyes as memories of that night fogged out my other thoughts. Sobs began to rack through my body. Sasuke grabbed my waist and pulled me up onto his lap.

He wrapped his arms tightly around me. I placed my arms around his neck and sobbed onto his shoulder. He rubbed my back and hummed a soft tune into my ear. My eyes started to droop and my body became heavy.

I opened up my heavily lidded eyes. Something warm was around my body. I lifted my head up a little and looked around. I was lying on Sasuke's chest and his arms were around me. We were still out in the living room on the sofa. The flat screen TV was on, but the volume was low. An episode of Gravity Falls was playing.

I grinned at the animated show and turned my face back toward Sasuke. His eyes were closed and his breathing was slow and even. His pale face was peaceful. His skin and lips looked soft. I blushed slightly and hid my face in his chest.

The movement must have woke him because he groaned and shifted a bit. His obsidian eyes opened and sleepily looked towards me. The sides of his mouth moved up a bit for a small, tired smile. I tried to smile back at him but was stopped by a big yawn. Sasuke chuckled and ruffled my hair. I playfully batted his hand away.

"Do you want to do something today?" he asked in a low, raspy voice that made me shudder. I purred a bit and snuggled into his chest. I hummed quietly and took a deep breath. The smell of his shirt flooded through my nose. I picked my head up again, a wide, crazy smile plastered on my face. I quickly got up off of him and raced away. A laugh sounded from behind me as Sasuke followed lazily behind.

I crashed into his room, only to stop. Sasuke walked in behind me. He came up and tapped my shoulder.

"What's wrong?" he asked, clearly concerned.

I turned to face him. "I don't have any clothes". Sasuke laughed a little and walked to his closet.

"What size of shirt do you usually wear?" He asked, shifting through his clothes.

"Large" I said, embarrassed at my big shirt size. Sasuke pulled out a hoodie and tossed it to me. I held it up to look at the design. It was a black hoodie with a fox on. But the fox had... one - two - three... nine tails. I smiled at the demonic looking fox and slipped on the hoodie. It was kind of snug. I looked up at Sasuke and stretched out my arms.

"How do I look?" I asked, putting my hands on my hips. I then walked sassily around the room. Sasuke burst out laughing.

"You look... stunning" he said between fits of laughter. He also snorted a few times. I giggled.

Once Sasuke was done dressing, we walked out the door and headed towards the mall.
