Chapter 2
Cory's POV
I groaned as I lifted myself off the... ground? There's yellow flowers, maybe dandelions, all around the room. Then everything came back to me. Mount. Ebbot, Frisk, that huge hole, the bridge breaking.
Why did I think of this idea? I thought at the fact we could die. Nobody comes up here 'cause of rumors... and where's Frisk?
"Frisk!" I said, panic rising in my voice. "Where are you, Frisk?!"
"Right here, Cory." A cute yet high voice answered. I turn around to see Frisk, who's standing close to the walls of this cave.
"So," I began. "Looks like there's no other way than over there." I pointed to the far end of the cave, and we looked up.
"Looks like we can't climb back up, the walls are too steep."
I sighed, looking away for a second before turning towards the hallway. "Guess that's the only way then, Frisk."
"B-but the rumors o-of the m-monsters!" Frisk squeaked. "What about th-them?!"
"I think they're all baloney, making sure none of us climb up that mountian. Now I'm not so sure."
We walked down the hallway and enter a strange threshold with some symbol on it.
The room that we just entered is very dark, but I saw a light up ahead and it shows a... Golden flower?
