Frisk's POV

[WARNING: Puns ahead!XD]

The doorway opens to reveal... snow?! How in the world...

"Oh my gosh!" I said, slightly freaking out. "How can it snow here?! We're underground!"

"I-I don't know..." Cory replied, looking around suspiciously. Figures. "Something will happen soon, we should leave this area now!"

Welp, that's not the kind of suspicious I was thinking of. Regardless, Cory nearly dragged me towards the bridge with something that look like bars, but it's too wide. A stick snapped behind us and we rushed to the bridge before stopping at this guy's voice.

"D o n ' t  c h a  k n o w  h o w  t o  g r e e t  a  f r i e n d?"

I gulped.

"T u r n  a r o u n d  a n d  s h a k e  m y  h a n d..."

I instantly spin around, grabbing his hand only to hear... Pfffffffffft

"Heh. The old whooping curtain in the hand trick." H-he's a skeleton, and talking! "Anyway, the name's Sans. Sans the Skeleton! What's your names, kids?"

"My name is-" I get cut off by Cory whispering to me. "You think you can trust him?"

"Cory!" I whisper back. "I do, he's a funny skeleton!"

Then Cory murmur something along the lines of, "That's what they want you to think."

"Sans, my name is Frisk." I said, hearing Cory sighed behind me. "And this is my friend, Cory!"

"Nice to meet ya, kids. I should be out watching for humans now but... I don't feel like it. Now, my brother is a human-hunting fanatic."

Human-hunting fanatic? I thought, squeaking at that part. Sans seems to notice my panic. "Chillax kid. He's harmless."

"Really?" I asked as Cory questioned him. "Really? What about you, lazybones?"

"Cory!"

"Heh. It's okay. I am a lazybones. Also, you can walk right through the bars. My bro made them too wide to stop anyone."

"Thanks Sans!" I said as we walked over the gap on the bridge.

Sans ketchup to us and spoke. "Wait, here he comes. Hide behind that conveniently-shaped lamp!"

Cory and I dashed over to the lamp. A tall skeleton wearing armor and a red cape appears and starts screaming at Sans. "SANS! IT'S BEEN... TEN DAYS AND YOU STILL DIDN'T FINISHED YOUR PUZZLE!!"

"Sorry bro, I'll do it eventually." Sans replied, looking unfazed by the yelling. "By the way, do you want to look at this lamp? I think it's really cool."
