Chapter 18

Thomas' POV

[A/N: Heya guys! I'm on a ideas streak, so that's why there's a chapter a day after the last one. Plus, a Thomas POV!]

I took his knife. I freaking took his knife. He's gonna be so mad... I thought as we help Cory up from the ground. Hope no one finds out...

"Wh-what's your name, dude?" Cory asked me.

"Oh uh, my name is Thomas." I said. "Did you notice that we kind of... you know, look very, very similar?"

"Yep. Besides the wolf ears and tail."

"Thomas..." Willow called. I walk towards her, leaving Cory with Frisk.

"Yeah Willow?" I replied.

"Something's off..."

"Yeah... I can sense it too... You're not the only one here."

"But... should we?"

"What, tell Frisk about this situation? I don't know if she can handle this..."

Willow breathed. "Still, I think we should."

Something attacked me from behind, making me fall towards the ground.

"What... the heck?!" I yelled as I stared into this thing's eyes as best as I could. "What are you?"

"Me? I aM sOmEtHiNg YoU dOn'T wAnT tO fAcE..."

"Just tell me!"

"Tom? Are you okay?" Willow said.

"NeVeR, ThOmAs... NeVeR..."

"Fine!" I said, making a spell. "Just... get... off... of... ME!"

As I said the last word, the spell blasted the thing off of my back. It landed in the woods.

"Great... I need to hunt it down..."

"Thomas!" Frisk shouted, stepping in front of me. "Wh-what are you doing?!"

"There's this thing that jumped on my back, and it's in the woods somewhere!"

"Tom..." Willow calmly spoke. "There is no thing. Nothing jumped on you. You just fell."

My blood begins to boil as something hits the back of my head. A snowball.

"Whatever..." I murmured, brushing off the remains of the snowball.

When I watched Frisk walking back to Cory, I saw something. Almost like a smile...
