Ally's POV
As I walked into the store, I saw a sign that said 'PINK'. I also saw a very beautiful girl, roughly in her early teens, sitting at the counter. She suddenly started walking towards us flipping her hair, I just rolled my eyes. Was this another day Alex was gonna try and get laid. Is he gonna try and bail on me again? Oh well she probably knows we aren't anything more than friends by comparing our looks. I greeted her with a smile.
"Hi," i greeted happily.
"How can I help you?" she said with a suprisingly nice tone.
"Well, this is my first time here and I was wondering if you could suggest some things for me?"
I look in over and I don't see Alex.
"Umm, hello, are you listening?" my thinking got cut off.
"Yeah,sorry."
"Ok, well I recommend that section over there," she continued as she pointed in the direction.
"Thanks," I smile at her.
"Of course. Anytime."
I decided to look for things to wear even though Alex had left me. I ended up buying some bras,underwear,a 'PINK' sweatshirt, and some natural looking makeup.

I walked out of 'PINK' with a big smile on my face, until I remembered Alex bailed on me. I sigh but walk out with a smile anyway. I decide to go look for him. I start walking towards 'HOLLISTER' and see Alex with a group of girls, flirting. What is he doing? He was gonna not let me go alone. My eyes start to tear up, but oh well. I'm walking towards the group but suddenly turn around. I'm not brave enough to comfront him right now. I walk away but I feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Ally wait."
"Wait for your dumbass to stop flirting with those girls? I'm good."
"Come on. Don't be like that. I just forgot that I had left you all alone in the store."
"You 'forgot'?" I roll my eyes.
"Well i'm sorry. Let's go home."
"I can walk myself," I respond rudely.
"I don't trust you walking home by yourself."
"But you trust me being alone while you bailed on me?" I spat.
"It was a mistake."
"A "mistake,"I pondered.
"You can't just make a mistake like that Alex."
"I know and I regret it. I know I should've stayed to my word but I got carried away by all the beautiful girls."
"That's your definition of beautiful?" I scoff. "You like the snotty sluts that just want to sleep with you? Fine by me."
"You don't know that," he responds.
"Omg, I don't?"
"I don't think so," he spits.
"Take your ex Amber for example. She didn't want you, she just wanted you for sex. And just who was there for you when that happened? Your BESTFRIEND right?"
I could see the amount of hurt in his eyes so I struggled not to comfort him.
"Ok I get it, you were the one there for me and I should've returned the favor. But I honestly think we shouldn't even hang out anymore because all the girls will think you're my girlfriend."
He could tell I was already hurting, but he kept going.
"Actually, they wouldn't. Did you see what I look like. They all know you would never go for a girl like me, but if that's what you want then I will just have to deal with it."
"You're gonna have to deal with it Ally. I'm sorry."
As of that moment, he didn't want to be my friend anymore.Tears start falling down my face as I run out of the mall as fast as I can.

I have been crying in my bed for the last 4 hours. I don't know why I had to develop feelings for my bestfriend. Why him. Why can't it be someone else. Will I ever move on. I have too many questions circling in my mind right now.Oh well, just sitting here and crying is doing ok for me right now. I hear my door open, so I quickly wipe away my tears.
"Hey sweetie," my mom comforts.
"Hey Mom," I smile.
"How have you been?"
"I'm doing ok..."
"I know about Alex,"she responds which surprises me.
"How?!?" I yell.
"Calm down. Alex told his mom the whole situation and she called me right away to see how you were doing."
"What did you tell her?"
"I told her you had been crying here for the last 4 hours," she bit her lip.
"Why did you tell her that?!? What if she tells Alex," I say as I start walking around the room nervously.
"Actually, he's coming over right now."
Next thing I know, I am on the floor seeing nothing but black.
