let's get one thing out of the way; calvin isn't very smart.

when you find someone mutilated in the hallway closet, most people think, "i have to call the cops!" or, "find out who the killer is!"

but calvin just really had to pee.

so while everyone was bawling, he snuck over into the bathroom. he just did what he needed to, nothing special, but once he was about to open the door, he heard something.

the shower curtain moving.

it was subtle, but just enough for the boy to hear. he quickly looked behind him. nothing was moving, but he knew for sure that the curtain was fully covering the bathtub when he came in, now there was a small crack, about as big as a hand.

calvin was too shocked to really move. again, he was stupid, not thinking about opening the door and yelling for everyone to leave. he simply just stared for a second.

about a minute later, a sigh was heard, before a blond boy with slight bags under his eyes ran out, pinning calvin against the door. he put his left arm over the boy's mouth, and the other held a knife to his neck. the presumable murderer's face was scarily close to calvin's, their noses lightly touching.

calvin, again, was stunned. was he about to get killed? who invited him? had he really been sitting there while he was pissing?

"if you come with me, i'll save you."

calvin couldn't really do anything. if he screamed, he would die. if he tried to run, he would die. he simply nodded his head, trying to not let the fear show on his face.

"we are going to go out there, you will tell everyone to remain calm, okay?"

once again calvin could only nod.

niall pushed the door open, calvin walking out and niall coming out a few seconds later, trying to not make it obvious that they were in there together.

the dark-haired boy stood in front of the closet, trying not to pay attention to the dead body behind him. he flicked his hood back, making his whole face visible.

"everyone! calm down! it's not that bad... um... it was obviously an attack on daniel and only daniel. we should all be good! so just calm down, please?"

he was just making things up on the spot, but they seemed to work. the crowd wiped away their tears and murmured words of agreement, but it was hard to concentrate on everyone when niall was nodding in the very back of the hallway.
