martin was worried, but it seemed like everyone else was fine.
typical. the people at his school were moronic, they thought that as long as they weren't dead, they will never be dead, but he knew better.
he carefully stood onto the coffee table, yelling, "hey!" to get everyone's attention.
"does noone care that people are literally dying? we need a game plan!"
a few people nodded in agreement. lia stepped forward, pushing up her thick glasses with the tip of her finger, "alright, that sounds like a good idea, what do you suggest?"
martin turned to face her, "well, um... i'm not sure. but i'll sure we'll figure something out!! lia, go get some paper so we can write down ideas."
she nodded and laced her fingers with her boyfriend's as they went towards the office room to get the supplies.
"alright, so any input?"
suddenly, a scream could be heard from the direction of the girl, martin mumbled curses under her breath.
"ok, so i guess we're not gonna write things down."
phil raised his hand, "let's split up into each room!! there should be enough people to assign half a dozen or so people to guard it, and if the killer is in one group, the other groups can have strength in numbers and take them out!!"
martin was dumbfounded by how smart this was, considering all the dark-haired boy did all day was stare at plants, "wow... that's a good idea. ok, so choose your squad and go claim a room. may the odds ever be in your favor."
he was soon yanked down by someone grabbing onto his wrist, "surprise, bitch. you're in our group."
he looked down to see sophie grabbing onto his sleeve. behind her was roman, austin, niall, and calvin. that was oddly convenient.
"ok," calvin spoke up, "if we hurry, we can probably claim my room. i gotta warn you, though. it smells like weed up there."
the group chuckled for a second, the stress of the night washing off.
it never occurred to them that their friends could potentially betray them.
