Chapter 9: Poisoning

Zayn's POV

I had just told Louis my plan and how I found the window in the closet. I had been up all night looking for someway to get out of this place. And I had finally come across the window.

"Louis, go wake Ally up. I want to get us out of here as soon as possible."

He nodded his head and walked towards the bed.

I guess he told Ally the plan because her face lit up and she looked excited.

When we were about to leave, there was that terrible voice that I hated hearing. It was Mark, and I wasn't so sure we would get out anymore.

Mark's POV

They were trying to sneak out. Did they really hate it here that much? There was no way I was letting them leave, especially Ally. He could get her. He might see that she left and then he would take her. I just couldn't let that happen. I started to push against the door, trying to get it open. It was no use.

"Ally. please come out. I miss you. I swear I will tell you why I did all of this."

Everything was quiet but I knew they were still there because I could hear their breathing.

The doorknob then twisted and out came a frightened looking Ally. She was trying to stay strong, trying not to show her fear but wasn't doing a very good job.

The boys then came up behind her and stood there to protect her.

"Go ahead, speak."

I could tell in Ally's voice that she really hated me right now.

"Look, Ally, I didn't want any of this to happen. I promise. If I didn't take you, he would have gotten you. And I just couldn't let that happen. I would  have felt like I could have done something but I didn't. You have to trust me. Please."

"Who's 'he'?"

"Erm, I, honestly don't know. I don't think anybody does. I don't even know what gender 'it' is."

I could tell she believed me by the look in her eyes. I just wish I could have told her the truth of who she was, because I just happened to know who the big boss was, but she didn't know that I knew her. Infact, she was watching over us right now. I could see her through the corner of my eye.

Ally's POV

I trusted my father. I guess I could call him that again. But when he said that he didn't know who this so-called boss was, he looked a little nervous.

"So, you only did this to keep me safe with you?"

"Yes, but we will have to stay here for a while. And sometimes we will have to act like you don't know why I did this. He/she sometimes watches."

I nodded my head. I think I understood all of this.

There was a fast movement at the end of the hall and I turned my head fully. It was as if someone was there.

"Oh no, this isn't good. She saw us talking. She knows about all of this now."

"Who does, Daddy? The big boss?"

"Yes the big boss. We need to get out of here. And Ally, stay away from your mother. She's not who you think she is."

What was he talking about? My mother couldn't be the 'big boss'. Could she? No, it was impossible. Why would she want to kidnap me? I was already living with her.

Louis' POV

I knew instantly that when Ally's dad said to stay away from her mother, that she was the big boss. There was no dought in my mind. I just didn't understand some things with her plan. Everything was so crazy right now.

 "Ally, are you okay? You seem to be deep in thought."

"Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about me."

She was getting really pale and she looked as if she would pass out any minute. I think she was having a panic attack.

"Guys, I really think we should get Ally to lay down or have some water. She doesn't look the best."

They all nodded there heads so I walked Ally downstairs to one of the couches.

"Do you want to watch some TV, Ally? Look at that, Phineas and Ferb is on! You want to watch that?"

She nodded her head slowly, indicating that I should put it on.

Zayn then walked in with a bottle of water and a sandwhich on a tray.

"Here you go Ally, drink some water and you will feel better."

She took the bottle and twisted the top until it came off. She took a huge gulp but then the bottle dropped from her hand.

"ALLY?"

Her eyes were screwed shut and her head fell back.

"I THINK THERE WAS POISONING IN THAT! WE NEED HELP NOW!" I quickly scrambled to my feet and ran to one of the phones. Ally's dad walked in crying and picked up Ally.

"Put the phone down. I will drive her."

I reluctantly set the phone on the table and then ran to his keys. I picked them up and started the car. I could tell we were losing Ally.

Time was running out.
