Chapter 9

I was looking at the fire when suddenly a pulse of energy made the ground shake a bit. That pulse indicated that a reset will occur in some days or maybe one. The things in my house moved a bit....

I felt really tired and sad. Everything was the same since years ago, hundreds of years ago. This was the first time that i met a new person since long long ago, a big change, or at least for me it was. But, this is ending, Zen will forget everything and i will be alone again, drinking and smoking.... just waiting to the reset again. I lost the hope years ago. I closed my eyes tired. For what am i living?.

-" Can i ask.. why are you sad? "-I opened my eyes again and looked at her. I think, I can tell her. A monster that can remember everything after a reset is pretty weird. Even Sans just remembered some parts and a lot of times he forget everything. I sighed and looked at the fire.

-" This all dont matter anymore... After the reset you will forget everything "-. When i was young, i dont remenber when all this started, I tried to be friend with everybody. But eventually... i started to get bored of all them. I totally can understand Chara, even I..... even I killed them in some of the timelines just for fun. Im not different to him... and here i am. But long ago, that bored me too and i stoped, now I just sit here, drinking and smoking, waiting for the end.

"Well.... em.... How should I say it?... You know that im a Demon... and resets dont affect Demons. We stay the same, we dont forget or get older "-. I looked surprised at her. Resets dont affect Demons...... im so jealous. I looked at the fire...... i just want to die. -" Do resets affect you, Rush? "-. She looked at me a bit curious.... So unfair.

-" Of course they do.... but i can remenber everything....*sigh*. Im tired of living the same life again and again and again and again..... "- I sighed long and sadly. I just want this to end, well at least one person will remenber me...... thats good right?.

-" I..... can help you. Only if you want of course. You helped me so.. - " Was she saying what i was hearing?. But that's impossible, i tried everything to make the resets stops and nothing worked. But.... maybe she know a way.

-" Noo, of course no. I want to stay the same over and over again. Please, dont take this away from me!!"-. I made a dramatic pose. Im curious about what she will do and if it will work. She laughed for my stupid joke, I smiled..... she is cute.

-"So... is that a no?"- I smiled a bit more. So she is playing my little game... ehe..

-"Oooh... yeah thats a nooo"- I looked at her as if i was annoyed. Even if she cant help me..... im happy that at least one person will remember me.

She laughed a bit more and touched my arm. I looked at her arm.... it was soft. I like humans and monster with skin, the sensation when they touch you feels food. I would love to have skin and muscles too.

-"I will help you... but you need to stay near me when the reset comes "-. She smiled at me kindly, I smiled back but.. my smile disappeared.

-" But... how?.. How will you stop them? "-. As i said... i tried everything. Will she really stop them?. I looked a bit down, sad.

-" Oh, I will not stop them. I will only make them dont affect you anymore. "- She smiled at me. If she is telling the true...... i could be finally free. I smiled more. I could finally have my life, control it and... have an end. I will have a life.... after all those years...

-" Thank you so much!! "- I will free. i couldn't believe it. I was so happy that i hugged her. She slowly petted my back.

-" E-eh.... N-no problem "- I looked at her... she was smiling nervious. Oh, maybe she is shy with this kind of things.

-" Oh... sorry"- I moved away and sat normal again. She is shy..... this will be funny. I smiled. She looked a bit sick again, she sighed and closes her eyes. Oh, i forgot.

-" I made food for you when you were sleeping "- I stood up and went to the kitchen. I searched in the fridge for the bowl. I took it and put it in the microwave to warm it. After some minutes i took it.... hooot.... and returned to her.

I could see how her eyes shined and she smiled a bit. I liked to cook, well i started to learn while i was studying medicine because i needed to cook fome plants or fruits. I made for her some needles with sauce, vegetables and meat. It had some medicinal leaves too that will help her. I gave her the bowl and a fork.

-"This looks delicious!! "- She smiled more and started to eat. I sat beside her again and looked how she ate it. I really didnt cook so much, i just eat whatever thing i find...... after all there isnt a point to make delicious food... but looked at her, how happy she was, now i wasnt to cook again. I smiled for all that.

-"You need to eat so you can get better "-. I smiled a bit again and rubbed her hair.

She was really happy when she saw the food.... and more when she started to eat it. I must say... she is really cute. And aha, she smiled like a little girl when she saw the food..... maybe ahe was starving.
