Chapter 23

-"Ohh, then if you are a princess i will kidnap you and ask for a lot of money"-. I smiled. Obviously I was joking. She started to laugh.

-"My father will find and kill you if you do it, ihih. And maybe even you will be afraid of you... he can control the weather and is 3 meters long. And, weeeell, he has a biiig army full of people that can use magic and that will love to kill the person that kidnapped the princess."- She kepts laughting. Afraid? me?. No way i will best all them with my ice powers.

Maybe i looked normal but im really powerfull. Wolf and I are linked and we are as strong as 2 monsters togueter, plus in the war Wolf took 3 human souls so we are waaay more powerful than a normal monster. I smiled wide thinking in that big battle against all those demons. Zen laughed more.

-"Now it looks more comfortable "-. She was looking around,

-" Yes, and well they are doing a bedroom for you. So you dont need to sleep in my bed. "- I smiled to her and she smiled back. -"Well, i need to talk with Grillby about the woodcutter job." -.

-"And we need to buy some thibgs for the kitchen too"-. We stood up.

-"Well then, lets go shopping"-. I graved her jacket and gave it to her. She out it on and we walked outside.

Today wasnt really cold. We were walking for the snow and not for the path, its faster this way. Suddenly i heard an "uah". Zen was in the ground, the snow cover a lot of her body. I grabbed her hand and push her up. I totally forgot that normal people cant walk over the snow. I used my power to she didnt fall again.

She laughed and cleaned a bit the snow in her clothes. I left her hand go and smiled at her. We kept walking and after some minutes we reached the vilage. Again monster were staring at us: me for new and her for human, she turned human before we reached it. I looked at them with a scary look.

We entered at the bar and, same, monsters staring at us. I was starting to get angry. I walked to Grillbys and talked with him about the job and the house. He gaved me the keys, well i already had them so those would be for Zen. Is better if i talk about the horary and payment with Grillby later, using the phone.

I could feel how Zen was acared..... and i was angry. I looked at the monsters with a scary and creepy way so they stoped looking at her in that way. I still needed to talk a bit with Grillby for some minutes.
