Chapter 39

All around me was red.....my body hurted.... and i was feeling.... cold?... I heard a voice... Zen?. A could see a hand and i toold it, i wasnt thinking, i couldnt. She pulled me out.

I felt how i was in the ground and then... something soft under my head. My head hurted.....

Something soft caressed my cheek and face. I felt weird.... heavier.... i dont know what was happening... I coughed and water came out from my mouth.

-"Rush.... "-. It was Zen.... she was worried. I moved a bit and slowly openes my eyes.... she was there looking at me. I was in her lap. She was worried but now she looked angry at me.

-" Why did you run away?!!!. IT WAS DANGEROUS!!!"-. she screamed. I tried to talk but i coughed.

-"I.... *cough*.... needed to ran away from there"-.I smiled a bit. I actually didnt know why she was that worried.... i just fell into a lake..... a red lake.

She looked at me, bit her lip, her eyes started to get wet and tearns fell for her cheeks. She was lookong at me worried and sad. Tears kept falling. I slowly sat up and was about to cleans her tears but she slapped me...........

-"IDIOT, YOU COULD HAVE DIED!! "-. i touched the place where she slapped me.... i was a bit in shock. She kept crying, looking at me with sadness and fear in her eyes....... she was really worried. I looked at her, sadly and cleaned her tears.

- P-please Zen.... dont cry" -. I hugged her and caress her back a bit... but.... i looked at ny hand.... there was skin in them and when i touched my cheek... there was skin too..... im.... a human now?... i didnt have marks so i wasnt a demon..... well... this isnt important now..... Zen was the priority now.

-"The red lake..... it... changed you"-. I left her go and cleaned her tears again. Her anger was going away. I looked at myself. Now Wolf was a hat, not a fur. I had white hair a bit long but no so much.

-"I..... im a.. human?... but... how is that possible? "-. I was still surprised and looked at my hand again.

-" It... the red lake... changes people in... other things or creatures. And... yes.... you are a human now. But.... please never run away again. Look what happened to you"-. I was still confused. She looked at me and hugged me. I hugged her back and caressed her hair. Her dress was dirty and broken and her hair was a mess. She was shaking a bit, scared so i hugged her more. She hugged me more and started to cry again.

I took her chin and made her look at me, she was crying so i cleaned her tears and caressed her cheeks.

-"Hey... its over now.... im here with you. Everything is okay"-I kept caressing her cheek. I hugged her again trying to make her feel beter... to make her feel that i was there with her.

-"Im s-sorry.... for slapping you"-. She looked at me and caress where she hit me, the place it was a bit red, she slapped me strong. I smiled at her and leans my head in her hand closing one eye. I liked the feeling... now with the skin... i could feel her better... she was warm.... i liked it.

-"Dont worry.... you were right"-. I smiled a bit to her."-I rubbed her totally messed hair.

-'Never run away like that.... ok? "-. I nooded an put my forehead agains yours. It was the way i hadto calm people..... well.... i think, is my way to try to calm others.

-" No.... dont worry.... i will never do it again. Sorry for that"-. I caressed her cheek and looked at her.

I dont want to see her cry again.... I hate to see her cry, i want to see her smile and hear her laugh..... i will protect her.... no matter what.
