Chapter 16

After some minutes using the snow to run faster, we reached the house. I entered running and sat in front of the fireplace. I was carring Zen so with a hand i took the lighter and made a fire. I hugged her more, putting her head in my "chest". I rubbed her arms trying to make her feel warmer. It didnt work.......... shit, i dont have another option.

I came closer to the fire, i felt like even if touching it i was burning. I looked at Zen, she was shaking and coughs. I put my hand in the fire. It hurted like her, i tried not to scream. I put my hand in her arm. I was a skeleton so the fire made my bones really hot, like burning iron. I kept putting my hand in the fire and rubbing it in her arm.

I started to feel really sick, really dizzy. I had a big headache, i barely could see. My vision where moving so much, suddenly all turned black.

When i woke up i was lying in the snow. Zen was putting snow over me, she was shaking and her hands were blue... what?. I stood up and takes her inside again. I sat in front of the fire and put her closer. At least she wasn't shaking as before.

-" Im... sorry... f-for.. causing... p-problems"-. She looked down and started to shake... I smiled a bit and rubbed her hair. She was still weating wolf that now was wet too.

-"You didnt cause any problem.. You just made Wolf wet... eheh... And, thank you.. for helping me"- I smiled at her and she smiled back.

-"No problem... it was my fault after all"-. Thats not right.

-"Stupid girl!! You made me wet! - " Wolf looked angry at her. That old monster... was he who" hugged her" when i put him in her. She was worried too and now he is trying to change the conversation.

-"Could you move a bit away, Rush? "- I made what she said and sat in the sofa. Slowly Wolf started to dry. -" Better? "-.

-" Yes.. now im better. But next time be carefull!! "- She noed and look a bit down. He is making her sad again. I glaced at Wolf. I came closer again and sat next to her.

-" Are you better now, Zen?"- Yes i was still worried, as always. She nooded and smiled at me.

-"Yeah... thank you... Im better again"-. She gave me Wolf again, i put him in my head and the souls dissappeared. She smiled at me. I search in my pocket and put off a small white boz, i open it, the necklace was inside.

-"I bought something for you"- I slowly took it and gave it to her. Her eyes shined when she looked at it. Ehe i think she likes it.

-"Wow... its beautiful.. thanks but you didnt need to do it"-. Even if she said so she took it and smiled happy . - "Can... you help me?" -

She turned and i took the necklace. I put her hair away and put the necklace in her neck. I touched her neck while doing it, i smiled. Her neck was soft too.

-"Done"-. I moved away and she tuened again and said thanks to me. She looked at the necklace and touched it. She looked reslly happy and smiled at me, i smiled back.

I love her smile.
