I didn't want to get up. I wanted to stay in bed all day, and sleep all day. I groaned, as I remembered that I had to spend today with Kandy. Today was our best friend day. I rolled onto my side, and looked at the time on my clock on my nightstand. 10:30 AM.
"SHIT!" I said. Kandy was going to be here at 11! I jumped out of my bed, and went to my closet. I ransacked my clothes, so I could find my high waisted shorts, and black crop top. I got dressed, did my hair and make up, grabbed my phone, and texted Kandy.
Me-Kandy!!! Bitch, where IS u?!
Kan-Bish, i is on my way! calm urself!
I laughed. Kandy was my best friend. She ALWAYS knew how to make me laugh. As I waited for her, I put in my headphones, and played "Panic! At the Disco"'s 'Victorious'. After playing that song on repeat a total of 9 times, Kandy FINALLY showed up.
"Finally! It's about time, lazy ass!" I said, smiling at her. She smiled, and laughed.
"Don't give me that shit, Emma! I was here when you asked!" I looked at my phone, and at the time.
"Yeah. 25 minutes late! Damn, bitch! You think that's on time?! DAMN! You need your eyes checked!" I joked around with her. She rolled her eyes, and checked her makeup.
"Do I look okay, Em?" She said, fixing her mascara. I took my phone, and said,
"Yeah, hey. Shrek called. He said he wants his face back." She lightly smacked my arm.
"Ow!" I said laughing. She rolled her eyes again, and started driving. On the way, I remembered that I hadn't told Kandy that my dad, was gonna marry Miya.
"Kandy, guess what?" I said, not that thrilled.
"What?" Kandy said.
"My dad is gonna marry Miya." I said sarcastically excited.
"Emma, that's cool! What's her last name?" Kandy asked. I sighed.
"Miya May Garcia." I said, like it was a pretty name. Kandy smiled, and squealed. I covered my ears, her squeal was more of a scream.
"OW! What the fuck was that?!" I said, pissed.
"Emma!!! Miya Garcia is Ricky Garcia's mother!!! HE'S GONNA BE YOUR STEP BROTHER!!!" She said in a girly voice.
