I walked out of World History, pissed, confused, surprised, and happy all at the same damn time!! I was walking down the hallway, through crowds of couples making out against he damn lockers, girls crying with their mascara running down their faces, over a stupid ass breakup, and then? Oh, and then...then there was her...the girl everyone called, "The Queen". PSH! I NEVER call this bitch the queen! She ain't the queen! She's just simply, Avery. Avery Royal. I guess that just because her last name is 'Royal', she's considered the Queen of Acton High School. Just as I was ready to pass her, she stopped in front of me.
"Oh, hi, Emma Collins! What a nice surprise!" She said. I rolled my eyes.
"Hi, Avery."
"Uh, no no. It's 'Your Majesty', to YOU, peasant!" Avery said, like she was correcting me.
"Avery, just because your last name is 'Royal', doesn't mean you're royalty at this school. Maybe at your house, but I for one, am NOT calling you a queen of ANY SORT! Well, maybe the drama queen, or the Queen of Bitches, or the Queen of Tramp Stamps-" I said.
"Shut your damn mouth, RIGHT HERE, EMMA! Let me remind you of who you're talking to!" Avery said.
"Sure! I'm talking to Avery Royal! A common girl! A spoiled! Little! Sorry! Excuse! For! A! Girl! Who! Is! Only! 14!" I said. As soon as I said her age, there was a gasp. I pretended to gasp.
"Oh my god! You guys REALLY didn't know?! Wow, Avery! And you say you HATE LIARS!" I said smiling. I turned on my heel, and began walking to Advanced English, when Avery shouted,
"You'll regret that, Emma!" I turned around, smirked, and said,
"Oh WILL I?" I turned back around and kept walking. This? Was the day I'd always remember as the day I defeated the evil Queen of Acton High, Avery Royal. And I was proud of myself. I couldn't help but put a little bounce into my step.
