Busy Bees

The previous week had been very tiring for both Jerry and Raine.

The construction of their house had already begun. Raine's secretary had also started working for Raine.

In just a week that Ms. Buera had been working for her, she right way noticed that her secretary was attracted to Jerry. She had caught her secretary flirting with Jerry a couple of times.

Jerry had talked to her about it.

"I don't like your new secretary," he had begun by telling this.

"Why?"

Jerry commented, "I don't think she's serious with her work."

Raine begged to differ, "Well...she's very efficient. I have no problem with her."

Jerry declared, "I do."

She asked, "What?"

He divulged, "She's flirting with me."

Raine teased him. "My secretary is really pretty and sexy. So are you attracted to her?"

Jerry was serious in saying, "No. I really hate women flirting around with their superiors at work."

Raine smiled, "Then I guess I have nothing to worry about."

Jerry seemed agitated, "That's it? You would not even reprimand her?"

Raine clmly explained her side, "Toughie, it's but natural for women to find you attractive because you are attractive. Well, she would eventually stop flirting with you if she realized she had no effect on you."

Her secretary knocked on her office door. Raine had let her secretary in so Jerry decided to leave.

"I'll go back to my room now, sweetheart." Then he kissed her lips with so much passion.

Raine had responded to the kiss with the same amount of passion that her secretary had accidentally dropped the folders she was handling.

Their lips had parted. Jerry had left.

Raine motioned her secretary to sit down. "So, have you done everything I asked you to do?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good!" She told her secretary about the presentation of her two new projects the following Monday. "I would be presenting my two new projects before the executive board meeting on Monday. I want you to be here an hour earlier before your official time."

"Yes, ma'am." Her secretary informed her about some calls. "Ma'am, your mother called."

"What did she say then?"

"I had told her you were talking with Mr. Castelo so she just said that she would call back."

"Any other calls?"

"Mrs. Miriam Castelo also called, ma'am."

"Did she leave a message?"

"No, ma'am. She wanted to talk with you personally."

She felt that her secretary had no idea about the wedding engagement yet so, "Well, they just called to say things about all the wedding preparations."

Raine had confirmed her assumption because her secretary asked, "Who's getting married, ma'am?"

"I am getting married in January, Gelli."
