One In A Million

"No need to hang up."
The doctor said at the same moment as Kaneki hanged up.
"Oh woops." Kaneki said.
"Soo was that your girlfriend?" The doctor teased.
"No haha that's actually my boyfriend."
Kaneki laughed awkwardly.
"Oh okay then." The doctor smiled. "As long as you're happy right?"
"Yeah." Kaneki responded.
"My name is Kotarou Amon." The doctor said as he reached out to shake Kaneki's hand.
"Ken. Kaneki Ken" Kaneki said as he shook his hand.
"So what made you end up so wounded?"
"Car hit me while I was riding my bike to school." Kaneki replied.
"Okay." Amon replied."Well I work here part time as doctor's assistant and at the CCG as ghoul investigator."
"Oh that's cool." Kaneki replied.
"Well a nurse is going to bring you something to drink and a yoghurt. Do you prefer something?" Amon asked.
"Can I have a coffee?" Kaneki asked.
"Yes sure I'll make it happen." Amon laughed.
"Yeah thanks." Kaneki smiled.
As Amon walked out the room Kaneki immediately grabbed his phone and texted to Hide: "Finally some food!!!"
Hide texted back: "You must be starving :p call me when u ate xx"
Kaneki smiled.
"Hey sweetie!" Kaneki looked up surprised as he saw a nurse walked in.
"Oh um... Hi." Kaneki smiled.
"I got you an extremely hot coffee and a strawberry yoghurt." The nurse said with a happy tone."
"Oh thanks." Kaneki said.
"Soo who are you texting with?"
The nurse asked interested.
"A friend of mine." Kaneki said with a surprised tone.
The nurse looked like she was pretty young for her occupation.
"How old are you pal?" She asked.
"Um... I'm seventeen." Kaneki told.
"Oh! You're pretty small for your age aren't you?" She joked.
"Soo how's your social life? Do you have contact with your parents? Do you have a girlfriend?" She asked getting more interested.
"My dad ditched out on us when I was born and my mom is a workaholic." Kaneki said.
"I don't have alot friends but I do have a boyfriend."he continued.
"So you're gay?" She asked with eyes.
"Yeah we've been dating since the day we met." Kaneki said smiling.
"He means the world to me." He said.
"Well isn't that the cutest thing."
The nurse said happily.
"So how does he look like?" She curiously asked.
Kaneki asked if she could give his wallet.
He pulled out a picture of him and Hide under the tree where they first kissed.
"You two look so good together."
the nurse said as she looked at the picture.
"Oh yeah can you take a look at my wound." Kaneki said as he pointed his finger to the bandage on his head.
She slowly pulled the bandage off of his head.
"It is a bit swolen and blood has leaked from the wound... Should I give you an aspirine?" She asked.
"That'd be so nice." Kaneki said.
"What's yer name pal?" She asked.
"Oh I'm Kaneki." He said.
"That's a nice name!" The nurse said.
"I'm Asuna Yuuki but you can call me Asuna." Asuna said while she took a glass of water and put it on the table next to an aspirine.
"I got a boyfriend called Kirigaya Kazuto."
She added.
"He's a high class Ghoul Hunter at the CCG."
Asuna said proudly.
"Oh my god that's so cool." Kaneki replied.
"Well how late is it?" Asuna asked.
"Right now it's 7.36PM." Kaneki responded.
"Oh wow look at the time!" Asuna said.
" I gotta get home before it gets dark outside." She continued.
"Kirigaya gets worried if I'm not home early."
"Okay, I get that with Hide too." He said with a little smile on his face.
"I'll see you at breakfast." Asuna said as she walked to the door.
She closed the door behind her and walked away.
"Now I finally get to call Hide."
Kaneki thought to himself.
He dialed Hide's phone number and almost immediately Hide picked up.
"I've been waiting for ya." Hide said
"Yeah sorry hon' but a nurse started talking to me and we got into a conversation about life and stuff."
"Don't worry my little geek."
Hide responded.
"Oh yeah..." Kaneki said with a sad voice.
"Hey what's wrong?" Hide asked.
"My head still hurts and i could barely finish a yoghurt." Kaneki said.
"I hope i don't bother you and your mom with me being unable to do anything."
"Oh sweetie.. you got in a car accident and you were unconscious for two days.
You've had alot to deal with..
Don't worry I'll treat you as well as possible when you get here." Hide said as he tried to cheer up Kaneki.
"I wish I was with you right now."
Kaneki said.
"Yeah I get what you're saying sweetheart." Hide replied.
"I feel like crying and I just wanna lay on your chest knowing I'm safe with you." Kaneki said.
"Hey hon' don't worry everything's gonna be fine and geez.. you're making me cry bro." Hide replied.
"I'll see you tomorrow." Hide said.
"Yeah.. I love you my little lemon."
Kaneki said.
"love ya too my lil' geek." Hide said with a lovely voice.
Kaneki hanged up and started crying.
"I don't deserve someone like him.." he mumbled as he dried his tears.
His phone beeped and a message from Hide popped up.
"I can't thank you enough for being in my life. I knew from the day we met that I felt something special about you.."

You're my one of a million."
"Much love. Hide <3"
That message kept in racing trough his mind.
"He really loves me." Kaneki thought.
"He protected me from bullies several times and even took a punch for me."
"We're destined."
"We're one in a million."
