My Hero Hide Chapter 2

Visiting

Kaneki quickly fell asleep because he felt extremely exhausted of all the things that happened in the last few days.
The next morning Asuna walked in smiling as she said: "Hey Kaneki!"
Kaneki slowly rubbed his eyes as he yawned:"Oh hey Asuna."
"Did you sleep well?" She asked as she changed the bandages on his head.
"Yeah.. I actually did." He smiled.
"Did you get home safely?"
"Yep." She said smiling.
"Kazuto wasn't home yet so I already prepared supper and when he got home we ate and watched a movie." She smiled.
"Oh man I can't wait to go to Hide this afternoon." Kaneki smiled.
"Aww cuties." Asuna teasingly said.
"Maybe if you're lucky you'll see him when he picks me up." Kaneki said enthusiastic.
"Oh that'd be sweet." Asuna smiled.
"Well.. I gotta go help other people now." She said.
"Well it was nice getting to know ya." Kaneki smiled.
"Yep you're such an interesting person." She said as she left the room.
Kaneki checked his phone and decided to call Hide.
"Hey sleepyhead wake up."
Kaneki said softly.
"I can't wait to pick you up Hide said."
"You just woke up?" Kaneki asked.
"Yeah I'm not going to school today." Hide said.
"I'll stay at home to clean this place as good as possible." Hide said.
"Relax hon'." Kaneki laughed.
"It's just me coming over." He added.
"Yeah but you're injured." Hide protested.
"I can't stand to see you hurt." Hide continued.
"Stop it Hide..." Kaneki said
"You're gonna make me cry again." Kaneki continued.
"I guess I'll see you in a couple of hours." Hide said.
"Yeah.. I love you hon' I really do."
Kaneki said.
"Oh little geek... what you feel for me isn't compared anything close to what I feel for you." Hide said with a dreamy voice.
"I'll rest some more." Kaneki said as he laughed with what Hide said.
"Lucky bastard." Hide laughed.
"Yeah totally." Kaneki giggled.
"Love ya." Hide said.
"Love you more." Kaneki smiled.
He hung up and closed his eyes.
"Just a couple of hours left." He thought to himself.
Just a couple hours and I'll see you again..
He fell asleep really fast.
A couple of hours later a soft voice whispered in his ear.
"Wake up sleepyhead."
He woke up and yawned.
"It's me hon'." Hide said stroking Kaneki's hair.
"You're here." Kaneki said.
"Yep! Miss Asuna brought me to your room."
Kaneki looked at Asuna who stood next to Hide.
"You're soo cute when you sleep." Asuna smiled.
"Let's go home Kaneki." Hide said as he kissed Kaneki's forehead which still hurt a bit.
"Yep! I brought you a wheelchair." Asuna said.
"You won't be able to walk on crutches for a long time." She said.
"Stuff keeps getting better." Kaneki laughed.
"I'll bring you guys to the elevator." Asuna insisted.
"Oh that's awesome Asuna!" Kaneki said.
As they went down the elevator Hide toyed a bit with Kaneki's hair.
Asuna waved goodbye to the couple as she walked back to the elevator.
"Mom is waiting a bit further up ahead." Hide told Kaneki as he pushed the wheelchair trough the parking lot.
"Hey Kaneki!" Hide's mom said.
"Let's get you into the car." She said.
They carefully layed Kaneki in the backseat.
Hide and his mom got in the front and a little later they arrived.
"Soo who's up for pizza?" Hide's mom cheered.
"I could definitely go for pizza." Hide laughed.
"Yeah but I can't eat much because I could get nauseous."
"Eat as much as you'd like dear."
Hide's mom replied.
"Miss Nagachika thank you so much for your help." Kaneki said.
"Don't thank me dear. Hide's the one who brought the idea up." Hide's mom replied.
Hide looked at Kaneki:"Anything for you." He said.
"You just lay in the couch and we'll help you out whenever you need something." Hide's mom said
Hide carried Kaneki into the house and layed him on the couch.
"You could've just put me in my wheelchair silly." Kaneki said.
"Are you crazy ? This is way more romantic." Hide laughed.
"C'mere you." Hide said as they both reached out to kiss.
"Oh save it for the honeymoon you two." Hide's mom laughed.
Kaneki laughed as he kissed Hide again.
"Oh Miss Nagachika you have the most LOVELY son." Kaneki giggled as Hide kissed Kaneki's neck.
"Oh i know." She answered with a smile.
"Oh Hide I forgot the beverages." Hide's mom said." Can you go to the store around the corner and get something?"
"Sure mom. I'll take Kaneki with me." Hide responded.
"As long as you two are careful when you reach the corner of the street." She said with a serious tone.
"Don't worry Miss Nagachika. I'll look out for Hide." Kaneki smiled.
Hide lifted Kaneki in his wheelchair and put a blanket over him.
They went to the store.
As they entered a voice said:"Kaneki!"
Kaneki looked from where the voice came from and saw Asuna walking towards him.
"Hey Asuna what a coincidence seeing you here!" Kaneki said.
"Hi Asuna." Hide waved.
"Who are you talking to sweetheart?" A voice said.
"Oh Kazuto this is Kaneki I told you about."
A young man of Hide's size came around the corner.
"Hello I'm Kazuto but I think you already know that." Kazuto said as he shook Kaneki and Hide's hands.
Kazuto looked very much like Hide.
He had the same facial features and hairstyle. The only difference was that Kazuto had pitch-black hair and Hide had Honey-blonde hair.
"So you two must be Kaneki and Hide."
Kazuto said.
"Yep that's us." Hide said.
"Pleasure to meet you two."
Kazuto said.
They talked for a while and then Kazuto got a phone call.
"Hello? Yeah, okay, be right there."
"Sorry sweetheart but a ghoul attack just took place at the park."
He grabbed his backpack and ran outside to the corner of the street and disappeared.
"Oh Kazuto... please be careful." Asuna mumbled.
"Ah don't worry Asuna I saw him on the news and he's a professional ghoul hunter."
Hide said trying to comfort Asuna.
"I better head home quick." Asuna said.
"Yeah we better get our stuff and leave too." Hide said.
Asuna left the store and short after Hide and Kaneki did too.
As they got back home Hide pulled the blanket off of Kaneki and helped him back on the couch.
"Be right back honey." Hide said as he kissed Kaneki once again.
He then walked to the kitchen.
"Mom we're back!" Hide yelled.
"Okay sweetie!! The pizza should he here any moment, I'll get out of bath in a couple of minutes."
His mom yelled back from out of the bathroom.
"Hide walked back to the living room where Kaneki was laying.
"Back." Hide sighed.
He grabbed a blanket and layed down next to his boyfriend.
"How are you feeling right now?" Hide asked as he wrapped his arms around Kaneki.
"I'm feeling pretty good right now."
He said as he placed his head on Hide's chest.
"You'll be fine..." Hide said as he tightened his arms.
Kaneki fell asleep.
Hide looked at him for a while.
Then the bell rang.
"I got it." Hide's mom said as she walked out of the bathroom with a towel to cover her body.
"Pizza's here!" She yelled.
