Jin gaped at the woman. She was the most powerful Seven of Water to ever live.

"You? You're Elizabeth Dwyer?" Ross asked.

She growled. "How do you know my full name?"

"Okward! He told us!" Nick cried.

Lizzie narrowed her eyes. "The fool. He ran away, when he could've saved Joel! Joel's dead, and I never got to say goodbye! I remember his last words to me. See you soon. Is this, 'soon?' It's been a decade, and he's dead! Now you're going to join him!"

She sprinted forward and swung her sword.

Jin and Max backed up. 

Jin reached his thoughts out to his spellbook. Hey, any spells to counter her?

You could use a Level 1 Fire Spell.

Level 1? Why Level 1?

Only fire users, such as your friend Max, can use fire consistently without fainting from slight overexertion.

Good point. Get me a Level 1 Fire Spell, please.

The spellbook opened and flipped to the incantation.

He lifted his wand and pointed it at Lizzie. "Incantera: flamas unum!"

A ball of fire formed in front of his wand, before soaring towards Lizzie.

Lizzie narrowed her eyes, before raising her hand. 

Water shot up and intercepted the fire, before both exploded into steam.

"We have to go, now!" Nick yelled.

They all lowered their weapons and ran, but not before a flash of pink exploded in the clearing.

The two girls both screamed.

Jin looked closer before realizing that Shelby must've brushed her shoulder against Lizzie's.

Shelby's eyes flashed to pink before they both stumbled away from each other.

They looked at each other warily.

Shelby spoke up softly. "Lizzie, Joel's alive."

"What? How do you know that?" Lizzie demanded, but her voice softened.

"I saw him. He's trapped, somewhere, but the Evil captured him to turn you."

Lizzie blinked. She raised her sword. "You're lying. You just want me to join you and you're trying to pretend Joel's alive!"

"He is alive!" Shelby insisted. "Aphmau was the only one with him, and she's the one who turned all of you! Haven't you ever considered that?"

"I have no reason to," Lizzie snarled.

Shelby tried for different approach. "Do you want Joel back?"

Lizzie's voice cracked. "Who wouldn't want their boyfriend back?"

"Then let me heal your heart. Let me give you your love back."

Before anyone could react, Shelby grabbed Lizzie's wrist.

Lizzie screamed, her blue eyes flashing pink before turning blue again.

Lizzie fell back, looking confused and disorientated. She looked at Shelby. Lizzie desummoned her sword. "Go. Before I change my mind."

Shelby smiled at Lizzie. "We'll find him."

Lizzie only growled. "Go."

They all ran off.

They were all sitting in the hut.

"That was a failed mission," Ross groaned.

Max rubbed his neck. "Because of that stupid-head, Preston. He led us into a trap."

"We came home empty-handed. I had hoped we would at least come back with Okward," Nick said.

"Well, not completely empty-handed," Shelby said slowly.

"What?" Cory asked, turning towards her.

Shelby twisted the ring on her finger. The one that gave Shelby her powers. "This is how I knew where Joel was. When I brushed shoulders with Lizzie, I had a vision. I saw two men, in two separate cells. The prison was overgrown, with vines and cracks in the walls, but still, it looked like someone had been there recently. One of the men looked a lot like Okward. The other one had curly brown hair and brown eyes."

"Ever since, there's been this feeling in my chest. When we ran here, the feeling became weaker. I don't know what it means, but when we were on the bridge, I tested something out. I walked towards the hut. The feeling became weaker. I walked away from the hut. The feeling became stronger."

Sky waved his hands. "Wait, wait, wait. The other man is Joel, right? He's alive, Okward said so himself. Lizzie was getting all emotional when she was talking about him. She still loves him. Maybe, your power allowed you to track Joel through Lizzie's love for him!"

Cory nodded solemnly. "We know how to find Joel. We can win."
