3. 😧 Settling in 😧

Zoe's POV

I'm driving home and looked in my mirror, Emma doesn't look too happy. I asked "what's wrong?" Emma said "why would I be happy?" "Cause you got adopted by me and Alfie" I said "It's not that good" she replied, I decided to leave it there. I said "we've arrived" in a excited voice "whatever" Emma said and got out, "what is her problem?" I thought. "What is that?" Emma asked with a disgusted look on her face pointing,  "that's our Pug Nala" I replied. "Do you like her?" I asked, "No" she replied. I felt quite upset as she was being really rude so I decided to show her where her room was. I left Emma in her room and rushed downstairs to look for Alfie, I found him in his office, I burst through the door and started crying.

Alfie's POV

My office door burst open and Zoe ran in crying, "what's up little one?" I asked her beaconing her to come sit on my lap and she did. "Did you not find anyone?" "No it's not that, I found someone" "so what's wrong?" I questioned. Zoe told me everything like her name, how she was being rude and she didn't like Nala. "Oh little one" I sighed, she sniffed "I don't think I picked the right child." "Maybe but we should wait and see," "where is Emma?" I asked. "In her room" Zoe replied, "let's go see if she likes her room" I said. Zoe was shaking because she had been crying, she got off my lap and we went upstairs. I knocked on her door, "what do u want?" Emma said coldly as we walked in. "How's your new room?" "I hate it" she replied, "why?" I asked.
"1. The walls are yellow, I hate yellow.
2. I wanted a double bed!
3. I hate 1D, why have I got posters of them?!"
"We're sorry we should have asked first" Zoe mumbled. "YEAH YOU SHOULD HAVE" Emma shouted.  Zoe ran out, I heard her crying "NOW LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" I shouted back. "I DON'T CARE"  she screamed. I was shocked at her attitude. "Don't you dare shout at me!" I warned. "You don't get any of your presents until you stop being rude" I said as I walked out. I found Zoe sobbing on the sofa, i sat down next to her and she leaned over and cried into my chest. Nala jumped onto Zoe's lap, Zoe looked up and Nala licked her face.

Zoe's POV

I decided to tell Alfie about Amy, about how she got really upset, she had told me that Emma was mean to her. After I finished Alfie said "hmm," "maybe we could consider taking Emma back and adopting Amy but we should wait longer?" He suggested. "That would be a good idea but yeah we should wait." Zoe agreed.

The next morning

I woke up feeling excited, I couldn't figure out why but then I remembered I was a mum! I suddenly remembered that Emma had been quite rude yesterday which dimmed my mood. "Maybe she was just having a bad day" I thought. I checked the time it's 8:04am and went down stairs with Nala to make an English breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages and mash. Alfie came down just as I had finished cooking, "here you are" handing him a plate. "Thanks Zo" he yawned, "I'm going to wake Emma, back in a minute." Alfie just nodded as he tucked into his breakfast.
