🏨 Hospital 🏨

Carys's POV

I wake up and I lean over to grab my phone and the pain in my legs instantly kicks in so I freeze and it calms so I lean further and I get my Phone, I pick up the bed remote control and I put the top part up so I'm now in a sitting position. I check social media and I answer all 231 text messages and I turn and see Lilia waking up beside me just as the nurse bustles in with food and she offers us some and we take some as we're so hungry even though hospital food isn't the best. I text Maddie as Zoe told me that she hasn't turned up and I get no reply and a doctor comes in looking nervous "excuse me" he says and I turn my phone off and raise an eyebrow at him "the bomb had loads and loads of nails and bolts on it so a lot went flying mainly into your legs and some are actually imbedded in your legs so we have to do surgery" he says and I can tell someone told him I get angry easily "ughh great, what will they actually do to get them out?" I ask "they will do an x - ray to see where the nails and bolts are and they have to use special tweezers and other equipment to get them all out and it might have affected your bones but we will see in the x - ray" he explains "ok, when's the operation?" I ask "in two hours so 10:00am" he tells me "ok" I reply and he smiles and leaves and I explain what's happening as there doing the same to Lilia and she was confused. The door bursts open and Ari comes running in holding hands with a handsome young boy who looks about 5 and she hugs me so tight and I hug her back and she hugs Lilia as I told her what happened to her over text "are you two ok?" She asks anxiously "I'm fine, my legs hurt badly but I'm taking painkillers, I'm getting at surgery in two hours and she gets her in an hour so before me" I explain to her. Ari tells me all about Taylor and how she found him and she got it all sorted out with all the adoption things, he's officially hers, Taylor Grande, sounds perfect. They go to the cafe for the visitors and get us some proper food and she says she's staying for ages.

Two hours later

Lilia has just had her surgery and she is sleeping, I'm getting mine now. I get put on a different bed and wheeled to this room and there about to inject this stuff in my hand that will make me fall asleep "don't be scared" the person with the needle says "you've got a fucking needle in your hand and your about to stab my hand with it and telling me not to be freakin scared!" I think and I must have muttered it cause she says "sorry" and slowly injects it into my hand and I have this numbing cream on my hand so it doesn't hurt but I feel it going into my hand and it makes me cringe.

An hour later

Once I fall asleep to took me to another room for the surgery then after that they took me back to the room where they injected me and once I was slowly waking up they got me some toast and orange juice that i was made to eat and drink cause I feel quite weak. "Hello, do you feel ok? The nurse says "you should feel a bit weak" Ari says "I'm ok, I feel weak and numb, my legs don't hurt there just numb" I tell them and Ari hugs me and Taylor hugs me too and they take me back to Lilia and put me back on my bed and she tells me her legs felt numb and weak too but now her legs feel fine but still quite sore but nothing compared to earlier. I have to take another painkiller and I drink some water and Zoe and Alfie come in and Zoe's face is red and her eyes are puffy and she runs and hugs me and then hugs Lilia and the same for Alfie "Carys has just had surgery and Lilia had her about an hour ago" Ari tells them, "Carys...." Alfie says slowly "we didn't want to stress you anymore but we can't keep secrets from you, it's just wrong but......" he says "mhm..." I reply raising an eyebrow "Jamie dumped you, he said he loved you but he didn't want anything to do with this 'drama', that's what he said so we kicked him out the hotel and he is now wandering round Manchester City on his own" Alfie tells me. I feel my heart shatter and my eyes turn glassy , I just turn over staring straight past Ari at the black wall. In the side of my eye I notice Kenz standing in the corner looking a bit worried. I have to stay in the hospital for the next two days so does Lilia, Ari goes to the Cafe and gets us more food and Zoe talks to Taylor and I go on Instagram and I'm getting loads and loads of lovely comments even though I haven't told my fans about me being hurt but some will have obviously seen me there. "Where's Maddie?" I say shakily "we have no idea, she won't answer any of us" Zoe explains and Kenz starts crying silently and it's painful for me to walk but I can, I was told not to if I didn't need to but I throw my thin duvet off me and get out of bed and pain spreads through my legs and I hug her and Luke joins in and we all join in but Eva, Lily and Beth have to go as they have meetings then a photo shoot. Zoe and Alfie leave as they have stuff to do but they promised that they will be back tomorrow, Ari says she's staying until it's late and Kenz and Luke stay and Ari is sitting next to my bed on a chair and Luke is sitting next to her with Kenz sitting sideways on his lap and she is leaning against him and Taylor is talking to Lilia. We all chat and it's now 5:25pm so after the nurse gives us some food I eat a little bit then chuck the rest in the bin and Ari goes and get more food once again, Ari has gone for food, Taylor and Lilia are too busy talking so I pat the space beside me and Kenz sits next to me and she tells me and Luke why she started crying and I kinda guessed "I really miss Maddie, she means the world to me and I can't do anything without her and I thought since Jamie dumped u.....I - I thought you might dump me Luke" she said slowly and he gorgeous Brown eyes fill with tears and soon they are pouring down her face "I would never dump you, you're gorgeous, funny, amazing and just the best girlfriend anyone could have" Luke says hugging her then me and Luke calm her down and we turn the small Tv that's on the wall in front of my bed on and we watch the news and mostly all it is is about the terrorist attack and I see a girl who I recognise as Maddie and I sit up suddenly and Kenz has noticed too and she got taken away into an ambulance we turn and look at each other "she must be here" we say in sync and instead of laughing we stare with serious faces and Ari gets back and we tell her and she left with Kenz to go to reception cause Kenz is family and Ari said she will say she's family and Ari sends me a Snapchat and they found Maddie and she is in the exact same state as me, she's had surgery and none of her bones were affected luckily and a Doctor rushes in that obviously has a lot to do "so everything is ok, your bones are ok and you'll be let out of hospital in two days exact same for Lilia, once your out of hospital you will carry on taking the pain killers for 5 days then you can stop and carry on if you need to" he says then walks out and I fall asleep and Ari wakes me up "it's 4:57pm, you've been sleeping for almost 6 hours" she says smiling with Taylor on her lap "oh sorry, I didn't know it was that long" I reply sitting up "food?" Ari questions "sorry not up for eating " I say guiltily , she gives Lilia some.
